Mariska is a beautiful dark brown female. Another heavy fleece producer with a super fine blanket. 18 microns at age 2. A power packed pedigree, Mariska's sire is the multi champion male, Empire's Justified. Her dam, Granite Bay Something Royal II, is a spectacular TB Female out of Snowmass Silver Signature who is known for passing along fineness and density to his offspring. Mariska is no exception. Mariska took a first place at her first show as a yearling in a competitive brown class. Her second show, a level 5, Mariska took 3rd. She is a show stopper. Strong conformation, solid build, high frequency crimp, and a super fine fleece - she is the total package. AND as a curiosity worht paying attention to: Mariska has a solid grey swatch of fiber on her tail - one of the reasons a rose grey pairing seems worth the effort. Mariska gave birth to her first cria in May, 2016. Willow Wind' Merlin is a gorgeous little boy with absolutely stunning full coverage and identical to his Mom in coloring and fineness. Mariska's birth was totally uneventful, smooth, tons of milk and she is a great Mom. Mariska is bred to Bomber for a late summer 2019 cria. We are super excited for this baby! Mariska gave birth to a medium brown male we have named DevaRishi - Cute as a button and just beautiful crimp and brightness on this boy. I cannot wait to see how he matures. Mariska can be bred to Cupid (I have a feeling this might produce a champion level modern grey) or Bomber in Spring 2020.
