Alpaca, Huacaya, Male | Medium Rose Grey
AOA #32242263 | DOB: 7/28/2011 (13 yrs)
Sire: Premier's Rubio
32242263<--ari-->MRG<--color-->His renowned grandsires are Peruvian Bueno and Peruvian Don Julio. His rose grey color genes come from Cloud 9 Comet, sire of Premier's Absolute, whose offspring have proven themselves many times over in fleece and halter shows. Rubio's dam, Premier's Jolie, has many blue ribbons to her credit and is a full sister to Premier's Absolute, well known nationally for his outstanding show record. Rubio's sire is Snowmass Black Legend. Julie Skinner said of Rubio in Snowmass' 2006 auction catalog, "Premier's Rubio..one of the finest grey studs we have seen." Rubio throws grey or black out of grey. He has several champion offspring.<--description-->
Dam: Day Creek's Sunny Delight
Interested in gray? Sunny has produced gray cria when bred to gray. Both of her cria have had dense bone and beautiful conformation. Sunny has passed her fineness to both cria and she has maintained fineness and great density in her own fleece. Sunny’s fleece has a very nice handle with nicely defined crimp. Her 2011 cria, Nebraska, took a 2nd under Gease and a 3rd under Lavan at shows this year! She is a great mother with ample milk! Her price is reflective only of a slight herd reduction effort since our resident caretaker is moving and we are expecting 6 cria this year! Reasonable payment plans will be accepted.
Update: Nebraska received a 2nd place at Palooza 13 under Gease as a yearling.
Sunny is bred to Alejandro.<--description-->

**See our package offer - which includes Nebraska and a lovely Avatar daughter!**
Nebraska's fleece is Extremely impressive.
A top ribbon winner at several shows in halter - it was his very rare fleece quality that made us select him as a service sire for our girls.
Amazingly fine at 3 years of age - but the uniformity was what sealed it for us.
We Love the fact he still has less than 1% fibers greater than 30 microns at 3 years of age!
And it feels as thick as a carpet.
Nebraska settled his first girl on one breeding.
We are so excited to meet his cria next year,
but we are making him available to you now - as Ike and Avatar will be getting the girls next year, and our space for herdsires is limited.
We would like to retain a breeding to Nebraska, if that is acceptable to his new owner.
We may regret letting this boy go once we see his cria next year! Priced to encourage a quick sale.
