We'll be watching for his genetics under the Snowmass name. Zeppelin's first baby to ever show, fawn Zeppelin's Rainsong, purchased by The Alpaca Group, won a color championship at her first show! From 4 Silver greys (black base) he threw 3 TB and 1 MB. But regardless of color - with Zeppelin it's ALL about the fleece quality - for example look at his daughter Tessla's fleece at lower right - she sold for $18,000 at auction, after being awarded CC, Best Brightness and Best Hand at the Alpacamania Fleece Show. Tessla's yearling histogram: AFD 12.7, SD 2.0, CV 15.6, %>30 0.0. (!!) My pick of our entire litter last year was his daughter Deltana - a fawn with the kind of fleece we dream of. Congratulations to Bari Padgett on her purchase of Deltana! Zeppelin's dad, Taos, a stunning Legacy son, had a 22.9 AFD at 7 yrs. Zeppelin's mom tested at 21.3 AFD at 7 years as well. Zeppelin also offers correct conformation, impressive presence, size, coverage, and substance of bone. His crimp, luster and dense lock structure are stunning - staple length is extreme. Zeppelin is full Peruvian and 3/8 Accoyo. We thank David and Julie Wroblewski for allowing us to add Zeppelin to Delphi Alpacas' herd sires.

She has a beautiful typey head, good bone and coverage - crimpy, dense soft fiber, and is an absolute doll. Gilda produced a gorgeous fine, silver girl, Nisha, in 2005 from her breeding with Patagonia's El Padre. Nisha is one of a very few silver gray offspring produced by El Padre. She was bred to our black herd sire Dino, for a beautiful black boy in the fall of '06, Fino Noir, a herd sire for Light House Alpacas. Gilda's daughter Lilac was awarded a Reserve Championship at MOPACA, then a Blue at the intensely competitive Futurity, and finally a Blue at the Level 5 GWAS. Three for Three - we are so pround of her. Gilda then delivered a WOW dark maroon Avatar son in July - Dense - crimpy and Fine Fine Fine - plus the attitude and the look everyone wants. Another star! He was awarded Reserve Champion at his first show - TxOLAN 2010. Just 7 months old and Dark Brown - beating the older light males. SOLD - Congratulations to Shiloh Ranch Alpacas. Take a look at that picture - bright, beautiful and what a handle. Dozy was awarded a 4th place in a class of 10 at her first show, MOPACA, over her sister Mairzy in 5th place. Jude loved her handle and brightness, and also commented positively on her conformation. Dozy then took a 6th place in a monster class of 16 beautiful true black juvenile females at GWAS, beating 10 top alpacas. ;^) Helen Humphries said it was her very soft handle and uniformity that helped her stand out in such a tough group. Then we sheared her and brought her fleece to Nationals - where she won a second place to her sister Mairzy's first, with very similar scores. Their dad Zeppelin was Color Champion Black at the National Fleece Show too - with his 4th fleece!
