Vinny is a gorgeous black male with dense, fine fiber and great coverage. Son of the amazing silver grey A.L. Paca's Revolution, a 17x champion who was still winning championships at five years of age, he is showing many of the fine characteristics of his sire. His mom is no slouch either, HRF Peruvian Mystique is a champion herself and full sister to 21X champ HRF Peruvian Challenger. Although Vinnie did not show as a juvenile or yearling due to a fiber break caused by an incident of heat stress, he returned to the ring and earned the Blue Ribbon in the Over 2 Male black halter class at the 2013 NJ Classic, and another blue at the 2014 Virginia Classic. He has sired two crias who are stunning brown females. Although not flashy, Vinny is a handsome herdsire who people notice in the field.

Maple Brook Atlaanta

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 30431218DOB: 7/24/200519 yrs
Atlaanta has a gorgeous dark reddish brown color, with black tips, balanced conformation and butter soft fleece. Judge Diana Timmerman described her as stylish with proper bone structure, awarding her a 4th in a highly competitive class of 11. Shorn, her show career ended on a very positive note with taking 2nd place in the dark brown composite class at the 2007 Mapaca Jubilee. Atlaanta's breeding career started with a fabulous fawn female sired by Maple Brook Andre, coming into the world unassisted at 18lbs. She passes the traits of the service sire to her crias. Three female crias in a row: a fawn, a dark brown and a silver grey. We repeated the silver grey breeding with HDF Hunter and Atlaanta delivered a fabulous silver grey male. Her third Hunter cria was an 18lb gorgeous brown female, Charlotte, followed by brown Savannah and beige Tallahassee. She is a very easy birther, good mom who nursed her 2012 son and grandson at the same time!

"...the variation between his primary and secondary fiber size rates him in the top 1% that I have measured and in my opinion is the future of the fiber industry. Awesome fineness. If mated to dense females the offspring should be superior." - Dr. Norm Evans, 2012 Rolex is the son of 6x Champion and winner of 5 Get of Sires, Sheer Galaxy, and 1x Champion A.L. Paca's Cocopuff (daughter of 9x Champion and winner of 12 Get or Sires Simba of A.L. Paca's). Rolex has a merino crimp style. His advanced bundling runs from his top knot down to his feet. He has extreme brightness and exceptional consistency of fineness from top to bottom, just look at his fiber stats. We proudly co-own this male with Clearview Alpaca Farm.

Description

Savannah is the daughter of our Atlaanta and Vinny. We were hoping for a nice one from this pairing and are not disappointed! She has taken the deep color of her dam with the black points of her sire. Her fleece is so soft, dense, and nicely organized. At her first double show as a juvenile, she took first place the first day at NEOBA and then a second at Empire on the second day. In addition to her fine fleece with soft handle throughout, she was cited for a well grown and correct conformation (definitely something her mom passes on to all her crias). Although big for her age, she is well proportioned and has excellent fleece coverage. She is easily handled and a valuable addition to our show string! Savannah would make a wonderful foundation dam for any farm, just as her mother has for us - easy breeder, easy birther, delivering primarily female crias. Savannah gave birth to her first cria in Spring 2019, sired by multi-champion Rolex, an active fawn male.
