Silver Bullet is stunning. Perhaps the color most desired by alpaca breeders, Silver can produce any and every color alpaca. When bred to solid black dams, he should produce only black and silver grey cria. And color isn't all he has to offer! Coming from full Peruvian descent, his fleece is exceptionally soft and crimpy - even his tail is crimpy! Bullet has good density and nice coverage. Bullet has very little white on his legs and an almost solid silver grey blanket, something that judges like to see! Bullet's sire has multiple ribbons, Bullet has multiple ribbons, as does his full sister. He is destined to produce ribbon winners himself. We are delighted to add Peruvain Silver Bullet to our herd sire line up. He is fully owned and will reside here at Ideuma Creek all year long. Spring 2009 Update - Bullet's first two cria are here - a dense, crimpy true black solid male here at Ideuma Creek, and a gorgeous silver grey full Peruvian girl at Heather-Rayne Farm. We're both delighted with these first Silver Bullet offspring! Summer 2010 Update - More Bullet cria have arrived! Silver Grey Silver Bella sold before she was weaned. True black females Eclipse and Abbey Dubbel are gorgeous. Gentle Breeze Alpacas had silver grey Annie, a beautiful girl, and Bambi gave us a dense, fawn fiber-blocked boy who is fabulous. We are very pleased with Bullet's performance and look forward to his 2011 cria crop.

Dam: Conan's Peruvian Raven of Ideuma Creek

Full Peruvian True Black Conan Daughter!

Conan's Peruvian Raven of Ideuma Creek

HuacayaBred (Female)True Black
AOA# 30938427DOB: 6/3/200816 yrs
Raven is one of only a very few black full Peruvian females out of Conan. We were delighted when she was born here on our farm! Raven is the quality black that you get when you cross two top-notch alpacas that cover black. Conan, Raven's sire is a fawn full Peruvian import whose offspring have done incredibly well in the showring. Raven's paternal brother, Lancaster, is a 6X color champion in fawn, and her paternal brother, Kodiak, is a 2X champion in black. Raven's dam, Peruvian Renatta, is a gorgeous maroon girl with dense soft fiber and a great face. Raven has incredibly dense, crimpy soft fiber. She stands proud and strong with a presence. Her face is gorgeous and looks like it will develop into one of those fiber filled teddy bear faces. Since we have just acquired Melody, another true black full Peruvian Conan daughter, we are willing to part with either Raven or Melody, but not both! Raven continues to produce top-notch blue ribbon winning cria for us - always black or silver grey! She is currently bred to Peruvian Silver Bullet who is in the top 1% EPDs for fleece length and is due with her black or grey cria this summer. The last time these two were paired, they produced a gorgeous silver grey girl who is in the top 1% EPDs!

Description

Anniversary, Annie for short, was born the day before our 24th wedding Anniversary; and what a present she was! She was the last cria for the 2015 season for us, and she was beautiful, big and incredibly healthy so we could actually go out for a nice dinner to celebrate our anniversary (and the birth of Annie!) the next evening. She was quite a finale for our cria season - exactly what we had been hoping for for the last 11 and a half months! Annie has very crimpy consistent silver grey fleece and an awesome staple length. Her conformation is impeccable, and her personality confident and proud. We own both her blue ribbon winning sire, Silver Bullet and her jet black dam, Raven, a Peruvian Conan daughter. Despite Bullet's age, he still continues to harvest some of the highest yields of fleece of anyone in our entire herd. It's unusual if he doesn't give 10 pounds - still. Annie is a real looker. She is the most sought after color in the alpaca word. Breed her to black and you should always get black or silver grey. She comes with a breeding to the Ideuma Creek herd sire of your choice. We've had some excellent luck mixing full Accoyo fawns with silver grey. If you want to try that you could breed her to Stratosphere or Cuba Libre or champion El Nino son, Zagot. We also are offering her in a package with Peruvian DelBello, a silver grey boy, same age, out of a champion black dam and our Lancaster son, Grey Matter. The package price for these two is $3950.
