Description

Coup's full name is French, and literally means "Bolt of Lightning". Figuratively it is better translated as "Love At First Sight"! And that was what he is to us. It took no 2nd glances for us to say yes when he was offered to us as they already had two of his full brothers on their ranch. Coup was born a massive 25 lbs, but due to being mis-presented at birth, he lost weight. He was also born in the summer in Texas which did him no favors. But he has the genes for you are looking for in a herdsire. He's got massive Snowmass bones and very fine fiber with a wonderfully bold crimp. He's settled a couple of our herd in the winter of 2017. His first crias are due at the beginning of 2018.
