Imagine a Zerox Machine - Named Legend

PrairieMoon's Imagine This Legend

Alpaca, Huacaya, Male | Medium Fawn

AOA #35115250 | DOB: 6/13/2015 (9 yrs)

Sire: El Nino's Golden Legend

2011 & 2012 GWAS Get of Sire

El Nino's Golden Legend

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 1422443DOB: 8/2/200420 yrs
Golden Legend is: ** 3/4 Accoyo light fawn ** El Nino son ** His mom is a Classic Rose Grey, 3/4 Peruvian & 1/2 Accoyo. ** He's been Get of Sire Winner @ GWAS 2 years running for 2011 and 2012! ** A presence that must be seen to be appreciated - he loves the ladies and is a gentle efficient breeder. Golden Legend has, at best count. 120 offspring as of spring 2018. As late as 2016, his entries in Get of Sire and Breeders Best of Three Halter and Fleece shows (level 3 and 4) resulted in high placements against younger herdsires - Golden Legend proves he is still very much relevant in improving the genetics of his offspring and setting the standard for exceptional breeding programs. Golden Legend is an exceptional male that stands for quality in both phenotype and genetics. His sire, PCA Accoyo El Nino is the 2004 AOBA National Get of Sire and Senior Champion of the 2001 International Alpaca Odyssey show. Caligula's son PCA Accoyo El Nino, was unquestionably one of the top impact sires in North America. El Nino is in high demand, so much so that Pacific Crest Alpacas raised El Nino's breeding fee to $10,000, and shortly thereafter eliminated outside breedings entirely. Legend's dam is Sophia del Sol, a light grey, 3/4 Peruvian sired by Peruvian Camilio. At her first show the AOBA Senior Judge commented on the micro bundling in Sophia's fleece and said, "The only thing wrong with this alpaca is it's not a male!" If your goal is to introduce superior genetics that includes bloodlines such as Peruvian Caligula, Peruvian Camilio, and Peruvian Guellermo into your herd then you will be making a sound investment in breeding to El Nino’s Golden Legend. Many of El Nino's Golden Legend's offspring are on the ground and pulling in Championship after Championship in the show ring. At Prairie Moon Alpacas we keep Legend busy and have many exceptional crias to choose from if you cannot wait the long 11 month gestation period for a cria produced by one of your own dams. El Nino's Golden Legend pumps out carbon copy, cookie cutter, peas in a pod (however you describe the Xerox effect) offspring. TexOLAN 2016 Breeders Best of Three entry with 3 Golden Legend juveniles at 7-8 months old and not cria shorn, Golden Legend placed 3rd in a class of 4 where all entries were yearlings except for our juvenile entry. The judges (Arturo Pena and Wade Geese) commented that all of the animals in our entry had long dense large fleeces for small bodies on juveniles - and then they put their hands into the fleeces again and smiled. After the awards were presented, the judges commented "the sire was the same in the Get entry as the Breeders Best - RIght?". We entered different juveniles in Get of Sire and Breeders Best - and the judges recognized the sire from the fleeces in both entries.

Description

PrairieMoon's Imagine This Legend has a Zerox machine for a Daddy and we hope Imagine This will start his own copy machine company and begin a new Legend. Where to begin - fine dense fleece with mucho bundling that glows and shines. Great typey head with sturdy frame and conformationally correct. Imagine This has a presence and bearing that is regal. He is special and knows it - but that is how Daddy, El Nino's Golden Legend, is - - regal and self assured. Big shoes to fill for a little guy - but I think he can make it happen. El Nino's Golden Legend pumps out carbon copy, cookie cutter, peas in a pod (however you describe the Xerox effect) offspring. Imagine This was part our TexOLAN 2016 Get of Sire Class entry (a juvenile at 8 months old and not cria shorn) placing 4th out of a class of 5 where all entries were yearlings except for our juvenile entry. The judges (Arturo Pena and Wade Geese) commented that our entry was a good choice for the Get class and the animals were all very much alike just like peas in a pod. Laughing a bit saying they looked at one animal twice because they could not decide who they had looked at. Imagine This placed 6th in the juvenile male medium fawn full fleece halter class of 8. The judge, Arturo Pena, commented that Imagine This had a large long dense fine fleece just not as consistent into his belly as the placings above him.
