Description

Galliano is the closest thing to his sire produced. He is Tuscan's clone, which is great given that Tuscan was still a 20 micron at almost 12 years old when we passed away. Except Galliano's larger frame, this is what Tuscan Gold looked like when he was this age. All the better, Galliano has strong bone, flat topline, stunning upright presence, straight legs, perfect bite, and a gorgeous head. He is just all cuteness wrapped up in an excellent package that sure has heads turning, tongues wagging, and judges noticing. Besides his outward phenotype, when his fleece is parted, it even exceeds his looks - extremely bright, super fine, high frequency with bundles inside of bundles, long staple with uniformity in micron. This fleece has a handle where the fleece seems to melt in your hand. His quality is not a surprise. His dam, Nicolette, a Royal Peruvian Apollo daughter out of an import female, has produced a number of stellar cria with Tuscan. Galliano's sire, Tuscan Gold, who put out stellar cria with over 100 registered cria on the ground. Galliano hit the show ring in 2014 and the judges noticed! He won five banners in his show career and was still winning, TxOLAN 2017 Color Champion, when we decided to retire him to herdsire row. Galliano is set to be Tuscan's replacement. His phenotype, fleece style AND demeanor are amazing. We expect great things from this guy!
