Description

Ever on the hunt for top notch white males, we bought this guy as Dick and Nancy Walker were exiting the industry. Everything about him fit our standards: SHIP Score for conformation 4.5 out of 5.0 EPD ranking for AFD in top 1% and top 2% for SD Histogram results that showed an AFD of 20 microns and an SD of 3.8 at 4 years of age! Skin biopsy showing density of 63 follicles per sq mm with a high S/P ratio And in Spring of 2015, we got our first offspring out of him - a lovely female out of a pairing to HCLA Trixie. We are planning to put him over all of our Firecracker offspring when they are of age, and we've put him on two girls this year who couldn't be bred to Firecracker due to close genetic ties. If you want to enhance your white breeding program (and every farm needs a good white breeding program if we want the fiber industry to succeed!) then this is your guy.
