Multi-Blue Winner & Champion Producer!

Manchilita

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 30008268DOB: 5/9/200519 yrs
Our Multi-Blue Ribbon Winner, Manchilita, is the full package for a successful foundation female. Her fleece characteristics have followed her famous Sire's footsteps in holding her fineness and crimp character as she ages. Her two year histogram was: 19.4/ 4.2/ 21.5/ 2.2 and she is holding that fineness. She has excellent bundling, her fleece is bright, and she has very low medullation. Her SP is 11.25 to 1 secondary to primary, and her density is 47.5 follicles per sq mm. She continues to give us 4" staple length at every shearing. She is beautiful with her dark brown coloring accented with that black tippping of her face, ears, and feet. She is an easy keeper and has her cria with ease. Her 1st Cria is a bay black female we named Jasmine and is a Blue Ribbon Winner. She has placed in every show she entered! We are excited about her breeding options! Her 2nd Cria is a black son we named Shadow (from Legend's Challenger) and he has already won 3 Championships and 5 Blues as he began his show career! Her 3rd cira, from our Introuvable, is a fantastic LB guy that has ribboned in every show so far.

Description

Shadow is our True Black Challenger boy who is winning Championships almost at every show he enters. He is the complete package in everything about him. You have to take a look at him to truly appreciate his value. The judges have said that you rarely see the fleece characters that he has outside of the white classes. His density is 51 follicles per sq mm with a SP of 13:1 with tiny tight crimp in symmetrical clusters. There is only 7.6 microns between his secondary and primary fibers! With his sire's ability to throw Champions (over 1/3 of his cria have been Champions or Multi-Blues) we are anticipating a strong herdsire future for him. His dam, our Manchilita, herself a Multi-Blue winner, has given us a top show winner every time and is the daughter of the famous Champion-producer Neruda. His 4 year fleece is still giving us Baby fiber! His histogram at 4 years: 22.7/4.7/20.9/5.8 Awards Champion, Ohio AlapcaFest 2010 Champion, Michigan International AlpacaFest 2010 Champion, National Champions Alpaca Show Walking Fleece 2010 First Place, Michigan International AlpacaFest 2010 First Place, Ohio AlpacaFest 2010 First Place, Best of the US, 2010 First Place, Place National Champions Alpaca Show Walking Fleece 2010 First Place National Champions Alpaca Show Halter 2010
