Bruxo's Legoastone's fiber results are spectacular and he is an amazing 1/2 Accoyo Beige with extreme density. Density Results at 4.5 years of age with samples taken on opposite sides of his body. Evans: 58.5, 11.9:1 secondary to primary(average that Evans does is 39-40 -he has over 4560 fibers every 10mm. Watts: 56.6 11.1:1 secondary to primary We just can't say enough good things about this guy. He has great confirmation, legs and a beautiful head. His fleece nearly glows in the dark - even as a beige! When he was born he appeared white with light fawn. He has now grown up to be a beautiful true beige color - the color of butter! Legolas is a text book example of the perfect Suri. He has outstanding balance, blinding luster, tight uniform locks, unbelievable density and coverage and topped off with a perfect bearded wedge shaped head. His crias are amazing and his second cria - Lorax is a blue ribbon winner and Re. Color Champion! May 2008 Update: Legolas' 1st cria has arrived and he is stunning! Extreme lock length and luster is evident. Congratulations to Warrior's Misea and Legolas for this handsome young fella. Legolas' 2nd cria (pictured below) is amazing and already has the coverage, density and luster. You can spot him in the pasture instantly because he has the greatest luster of any of our light cria. His name is Lego's Lorax of SBFS, but we call him "Ax Man". His dam is white and he has already been a 3x Champion! Legolas' 3rd cria is a beige boy (white mom - Saber's Monico) that we knew immediately was top of the line - we named him Lego's Maximus - so that should tell you we think a great deal of him! He has not yet started his show career. Legolas' 4th cria is a medium brown female out of a light fawn dam (Saber's Eclipse). Wow this girl is covered from head to toe with greasy, penciled locks. She has done well in the ring and placed 2nd at Nationals this spring (behind her own stall buddy, a Saber daughter).

Monico is a sweetheart, always wanting a kiss even when she is pregnant. When we saw Monico on her Stone Brook Farm's listing, we we enthralled with her 2010 white female cria, Mandolin, by Bruxo's Legolastone for her impressive coverage and density. From Stone Brook Farm's listing: "Saber’s Monico is an exceptional female with fantastic coverage of light locks and luster from her nose to her toes. Monico is a daughter of Peruvian Saber (Grandson of Accoyo Baron) and Windrider’s Zoe [and the 2010 Futurity Reserve Herdsire of the Year]. Monico’s dam, Windrider’s Zoe, is a solid female with fantastic regrowth and coverage... Monico's sire, Meadowgate Peruvian Saber, is a rich medium brown male with fantastic luster and locks. His density and coverage is supurb. Saber has a fantastic head that he is putting on his cria. Saber has a fantastic pedigree that includes Accoyo Baron and Sergeant Major Jax." Monico came to our farm with a small, lightly draining hole on the bottom of her jaw. She is the opposite of skinny being above average in weight on a well-developed frame. Monico didn't breed for us that first year, due to a combination of weather/timing and our seasonal breeding schedule. At our vet's advice we gave antibiotics and just watched her drainage hole since surgeries are so dangerous and she has never had issues keeping weight on. In the last several years there hasn't really been anything to watch and in the last few years she's been closed up. As far as we can tell she doesn't have any jaw or teeth issue Her first cria for us was a brilliant and fine light fawn male we named Firefall. He has kept his fineness and locking well into his maturity! The next year we tried to breed her to a colored herdsire from the Northwest, but we lost the cria at its birth -- a terrible loss of a beautiful light brown well-covered and locked male. Later, Monico surprised us with a beautiful light brown female that we named Caught By Surprise! We thought she had not taken based on spit testing. She did a great job managing her pregnancy and was a great mom to her locky little girl! This girl has a lovely greasy feel, tight little locks, and a wonderful luster!

Description

5 year old Micron (2016): 19.3 AFD, 4.5 SD, 23.2 CV! Firefall has easy movement with a nice topline and straight legs. He is solid-boned, well-conformed, and boxy in frame. His fleece tightly locks all the way down to his skin, from the back of his legs, across his blanket and wrapping around his chest. You don't have part his fleece to see locking and luster -- it shows in his regrowth as he stands there! This kind of consistency is the way to both fiber processing and show ribbons! At birth Firefall glowed with the light reflecting off his fiber, like the "Firefall" of Yosemite National Park! His dam, Monico, daughter of Saber, and his renowned sire Legolastone had been bred together multiple times to produce other fantastic crias -- like Lego's Maximus of SBFS and Stone Brook Mandolin -- but Firefall is the only one with medium fawn fiber, definitely placing him in a special position even among his siblings! Firefall's sire is the beige 1/2 Accoyo champion herdsire "Bruxo's Legolastone". Stone Brook Farms showed his extreme density: 58.5 follicle density and 11.9:1 secondary to primary (Evans) as a 4.5 year old, and stated, "Legolas is a text book example of the perfect Suri. He has outstanding balance, blinding luster, tight uniform locks, unbelievable density and coverage and topped off with a perfect bearded wedge shaped head. His crias are amazing..." Firefall has the genetics to throw even darker color with his material grandsire being the stunning Meadowgate Peruvian Saber, sire of many exceptional dark crias: TB champions Liberator, Revolution, and Black Cherry; champion/blue ribbon MB Red Storm and Red October; lovely MF champion Talwar... among others! Yes, Firefall's pedigree is STACKED for excellence in color!!
