SOLD! Exported to Canada to meet new ladies! _________________________ Sale Pending - Male is in quarantine for export. __________________________ Bravo's sire AND grandsire are both Herdsire of the year winners. He is the very image of Danko (grey breeders know who this impact male is.) He is going up for auction soon at a very affordable price! He is sitting here unused and that is a shame. ___________________________ Throwing both classic silver and rose greys, as well as black, offspring has been no problem for this incredible stud. This is one male that just delivers the goods - truly an impact herdsire. __________________________ This is a robust male with all the right "pieces". Yes, his ribbons say it all. But conformationally, he brings the correct foundation to your herd. Fast forward your foundation with Bravo. For example - in conformation note the wide, full chest and the solid, strong back legs. The strong, boxy frame and correct "true to type" huacaya style is apparent in this male. All are necessary for breeding selection. These are the traits you look to pass on for future generations - these are tomorrow's building blocks. They are passed on in Bravo's offspring. Then add the incredibly dense, yet fine (two blue ribbons AT NATIONAL LEVEL in FULL FLEECE!) to this frame and you have a "package" in … GREY. Or BLACK. Go ahead. Breed it to brown, too. Or fawn. We aren't picky. Set yourself up for the next generation of grey after that. We get where you are headed…But you have to have the foundation to leap ahead of the others. Let Bravo take you there. Bravo has more than a “who’s who” in his ancestry. Take a peek for yourself – and feel free to dream. We did. And then we purchased him for our breeding program. We recognize the exceptional pedigrees in this male – and we HAD to have him for our future generations. This is who helped create Bravo: - Dark Shaddow (stunning male who simply needs no explanation as Reserve Extreme Herdsire of the Year) - Grand River Amstel (son of Dark Shaddow, also an Extreme Herdsire of the Year) - Danko (incredible grey male who needs no explanation) - Crescent Moon’s Rayo Del Sol (son of Danko - both Futurity and Nationals champion) - And the late Legacy (perhaps the grandmaster of them all) Although Bravo appears to be modeled after his 8x champion grandsire, Rayo Del Sol, the breeders striving for the import image need look no further!

Update 7/2/13: Baby Luna is doing well. She is 32lbs and already giving all the other girls a hard time. She's a bundle of energy and her fiber is fabulous!!! Look for Luna in the Spring show rings :-) 6/8/13 - ***OMG...Sapphire gave birth this afternoon to a stunning rose grey female!!! She weighed in at 18.5 lbs. Mom and baby are doing great! Reading the ARI certificate on Sapphire makes any knowledgeable breeder just drool. That's exactly what I did when I first saw it!!! I knew I had to have her. Thanks to Salt Creek Alpacas, Inc...we are now the proud owners of this fantastic girl!!! Snowmass Peruvian Casanova…Snowmass Nova…Drambuie…Bueno…Legacy…all on a TRUE BLACK FEMALE. That is right – she is a product of black on black (black dam and black sire)…and she is following in the footsteps of her siblings…champions! Sapphire earned her first blue ribbon at the age of 7 months. Crimp? Yep – she’s got it. Handle? Oh yea, softer than a cloud. Brightness? Put your sunglasses on, she is so bright. Density? She has so much fiber, she is already sweating and can’t wait to be shorn again! Fineness? Well…we challenge you to find a black with more fineness. Sapphire is another example of what her dam gives us every time - incredible offspring with fineness, superb fiber, perfect conformation - and a handle that stays with the alpaca as it ages. Sapphire at 20 months is as soft and fine as she was at 2 months. WOW. Similar to the rare sapphire gemstone, our Midnight Sapphire remains one of most sought after alpaca “types” with her flawless conformation, perfect bite, beautiful handle, crimp, overall “style”, and she has no overtones or secondary colors to lessen her beauty! All of this makes not only a beautiful addition to any alpaca collection but also a fairly sound investment. Sapphire comes from a line of champions - sister (Midnight Starr - SOLD) and brother (Blackjack - SOLD) have both taken banners and multiple ribbons...Sapphire is just beginning. But more importantly, she carries the foundation guaranteed to be the same outstanding seed stock that you want in your herd. Siblings have proven this by beating out multiple whites and fawns for the coveted Produce of Dam blue ribbon for the dam. It is rare that black beats out any other color when you have multiples...but Magic's offspring consistently does this. Sapphire is no exception. She is another gem. Sapphire is confirmed bred to TWO time Nationals BLUE ribbon winner Grand River Bravo. Bravo is a a silver/rose grey with ancestry of Dark Shaddow/Grand River Amstel and Danko/Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol. The number of Futurity and National awards won by these males is only out done by the grandmaster of them all - Legacy...who just so happens to also be in the background. What an awesome package!
