LAKELAND ALPACAS Minnesota Titan is a third generation Classic Peruvian Grey Champion Male. He is a medium rose grey with a cast of lavender with great conformation, bite and disposition. His fleece is dense with incredible softness and handle. Titan's sire is Shades of Gray and grand sire is Silverado. His Dam is MA Selasia, a beautiful Black Full Peruvian. His grand Dam is MA Selena whom is also a true black. Alianza-Macusani/Alianza-Quenamari/Peruvian-Sollocota Titan has proven himself in the show ring and we can see why! Judge Diana Timmerman said that Titan has fine and consistent fleece and that HE is the TOTAL PACKAGE! Judge Amy Bliss-Miller gave Titan the JUDGES CHOICE Ribbon for his fleece! She commented, "Wonderful fineness, hand and density!" This is an ELITE Fleece considering that he won over whites, fawns and dark fleeces! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Titan's 2009 crias, both females, were both awarded BLUE RIBBONS and CHAMPION RIBBONS at the level II Shepherd's Harvest Fleece show. "Barb" has produced many crias for us. She is starting to show some signs of slowing down in the raising crias department. So, we decided to retire her as a breeder and just let her live out the rest of her years as a companion. Polonez Peruvian Barcelona aka "Barb" is the daughter of Snowmass Peruvian King Cole a Bay Black herdsire. Barb has proven herself to produce colored crias. Her 2015 male cria is a dark rose grey with flashy white by a medium rose grey sire, Peruvian TItan. In 2016 she produced a super fine white male by TKAF Peruvian Einstein with 15.1 micron. Her 2018 male cria is a gorgeous reddish medium brown, and in 2019 & 2020 she produced phenomenal white/beige females by AHRF Peruvian Whitlock, a son of Snowmass Matrix. She has soft fleece with lasting fineness, good conformation, is an easy birther, lots of milk, and is a fantastic mother! Barb has been a valuable foundation female for us. Barb delivered a white, female cria in Sept 2019 by AHRF Peruvian Whitlock, a Snowmass Matrix son, with dense, organized, and buttery fleece! We will be holding Miss Bianca back as an addition to our breeding herd. Miss Bianca's fiber stats for her 2020 CRIA fleece came in: MFD 20.3, SD 2.6, CV% 12.9, CF 99.7%, MSL 112 Barb delivered another beige, female cria in Sept 2020 by AHRF Peruvian Whitlock, a Snowmass Matrix son. This full Peruvian Snowmass Matrix grand daughter is sure to have wonderful fleece! We will be holding Helen back as an addition to our breeding herd. We hope she is as nice as her full sister, Miss Bianca! "Barb" delivered a dark brown male cria by AHRF Peruvian MacGregor on June 15th, 2022 (Bullwinkle). This breeding should bring a cria with a compact and correct frame with lots of fleece coverage, good staple length, and lasting finess!

Description

Healthy male out of Polonez Peruvian Barcelona and by FRA Peruvian Titan, a champion medium rose grey sire. Homer's fleece is amazing! He has such a beautiful deep dark rose grey. The fleece is so fine it makes some of the other alpacas jealous! Homer experienced a paddock accident in July 2015 and fractured he right hind leg. He was on stall rest with quite the splint for 2 months. In one of his vet appointments during treatment it was found the fracture healed wrong, but it had to much calcification to fix at that time. So, Homer will have a permanent gait change and an odd angle to that leg. He gets around good now and still loves to run and play with the other boys. He gets along great with his current herd and doesn't show any discomfort for any normal activities. Homer is for sale to the right home. Reasonable offers considered.
