CHALLENGER'S OFFSPRING ARE ON THE GROUND IN THE RING AND THEY'RE SPECTACULAR! Challenger's fleece literally takes your breath away with it's fineness and degree of consistent eye-popping crimp from the top of his head down his legs. It truly has the look and feel of many superior white fleeces. Great density makes this fleece a complete package. He sheared a 4.1 lb blanket of cria fleece alone. Challenger has sired multiple champions and currently has 218 registered offspring. His breeding fee is $7500 and restricted to 5 outside breedings per year.

Champion & Blue Ribbon Offspring!

FRA MASQUERADA

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Silver Grey
AOA# 1136258DOB: 7/20/200420 yrs
Masquerada is an outstanding grey! Her dam is a solid rose gray Pperuvian (Accoyo) Victor daughter out of the respected Timberland breeding program in Oregon. Her dam Rosebud is now owned by Crescent Moon Ranch and is a valued production female there. Rosebud was sent to Ohio to breed with Nic Nac, an impressive rose grey Champion herdsire out of Black Magic and 4Peruvian Pecosa, that consistently passes on his fine traits and grand presence. Masquerada has her father's trademark raccoon masque. Her quality speaks for itself. At 3 years old and with a cria nursing, her micron was an amazing 18.5 AFD ! and an SD of only 3.6. Masquerada passes on her excellence to her crias... Offspring: In 2006, Masquerada had FRA MAGIC'S MORENO, a handsome DB male out of Snowmass Magic. FRA Magic's Moreno took the Blue at the Level 5 Great Western 2007 in a large class, and another blue ribbon for fleece at the ABR Fall Festival 2007. In 2007, Masquerada gave us MARIANNA OF FRA, a TB female out of Legend's Challenger of KPR. Marianna received the Black Female Color Championship banner and a blue ribbon at the ABR Fall Festival Alpaca Show in 2008. In 2008, Masquerada had MARQUIS, a handsome MSG male out of Aladdin of KPR. Aladdin boasts of his renowned father, 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend 9058. In 2010, Masquerada gave birth to ESTATES MAKANA, a beautiful MSG female out of legendary grey herdsire, Bisturi. Makana took home Two Blue ribbons at the Dixon Alpaca Caper show in 2010. In 2011, Masquerada had ESTATES MONET INSPIRATION, a lovely DSG female sired by Snowmass Rockstar XX. Monet Inspiration received a 2nd Place ribbon at the International Alpaca Odyssey (IAO) 2013. In 2013, Masquerada gave us ESTATES MARIAH, a true black beauty (weighing 15.4 lbs.) sired by knock out male, 4Sight's Applause. Mariah took home a 1st Place ribbon at MAPACA Jubilee 2015 and 2nd place at the 2015 AOA National Show. In 2014, Masquerada had ESTATES STERLING SILVER MOMENT, a beautiful silver grey female sired by multi-generational silver, NS Magic Flight. In 2017, Masquerada presented us with ESTATES MAGNETIC MASQUERADA XX, a wonderful light silver grey female sired by Judge's Choice and 9x Champion, KVR Peruvian True Eye Candy "Ike".

Service Sire: Voo Doo Magic of FRA

Voo Doo Magic of FRA

HuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)True Black
DOB: 8/15/201212 yrs
Voo Doo is part of our champion retirement package and also part of the black subgroup package that we would separate out of the total retirement package as a separate offering. We will consider smaller packages as well, along with Voo Doo as a solo sale. We are also contemplating auction entries for 2016, and he is in consideration, so if you have an interest, get him now before he is possibly consigned. Voo Doo Magic comes from two stellar parents. Patagonia's Vinson Massif (Lennox son) is a beautiful male with fine, extremely dense fleece, which Voo Doo inherited. Voo Doo's dam, GNLC BooKoo, is a stellar true black female, daughter of Snowmass Nova's Inca x GNLC Quicksilver. These deep color genetics have been passed to true black Voo Doo Magic. He, like his dam, is the true deep blue/black color without any brown tipping or sun fading. Voo Doo Magic has grown quickly, exhibiting a stout frame. That frame carries very dense, fine, bright fleece with zipper crimp style. Voo Doo has earned 4 championships in both halter and fleece, and has maintained fineness with a 21.4 micron 3-year-old fleece with a comfort factor still at 95.7% (fibers less than 30 4.3%) and CV of 21.2%/SD 4.5 micron. First babies will arrive in 2016 as we have multiple females spitting off. We offer Voo Doo as one of our leading males in our retirement package. See our package deals on Openherd for more information about our other stellar alpacas, including the 9 other alpacas in the black group that could be combined with Voo Doo.

Description

Marianna is a stellar true black female that we obtained from the Front Range retirement sale. She was the #1 female we were after in our purchases of about a dozen alpacas there. She is a true black out of 2 gray parents. Her dam is a stunning gray female named Masquerada, by Nic Nac and out of a PPeruvian Victor daughter, and Marianna's sire is the well known Legend's Challenger of KPR. Marianna has a beautiful phenotype and has been a good production female for us. Her first cria, Mondavi of FRA, is a bay black intact male still at our ranch. Her next 2 cria are by our Tuscan Gold and absolutely beautiful with fine fleece. Dirty Martini is a bay black that we have sold off the ranch, and Tuscan's MVP is a true black junior herdsire included in our retirement package. He is so darling that he is a magnet at our show pen. Bright, shiny, black fleece has earned him show ribbons as a juvenile, including blue. Marianna is bred to true black Voo Doo Magic for a May 2016 cria.
