Madison has Caligula and Victor on her sire's side and Vengador and El Moustachio on her dam's side. She had staple length right at six inches as a maiden, and she is well over five inches this year even having been pregnant throughout most of the growth season. She feels really luxurious, and you just want to bury your hands in her fleece. We believe that is a result of the uniformity of her fleece. She positively drips with coat! She is the poster girl for the phrase, "I'm NOT FAT, I'm....poofy!" However, at the first shearing our shearer commented that she had a great deal of pigmentation to be only a white and he believed she was really beige. So last week I got our brand new ARI color card out in the sun with her and, sure enough, she really does match the beige at the half inch of growth closest to the skin.
