Well, Giorgio was a TOTAL SLEEPER for us. He was handsome and had a great pedigree, but he was overlooked for the show string, and we leased him to a farm in Santa Ynez along with his sister and a couple of huacayas. So, the farm called to say they were returning 3 of the girls (the lease period had ended), but it turns out that one of the "girls" they sent in the trailer was actually Giorgio. Yes, he managed to impregnate 3 girls (including his half sister AND a huacaya) in 24 hrs! Turns out that ALL of the crias are GORGEOUS!--even (especially) the "hua-suri" boy, Spike. But the best is El Mago--I can't believe how lustrous and well-defined his locks are, and he has wrinkled skin all over his neck. He's going to start his show career soon, and Giorgio has been bumped up to our stud row, based on his production, as well as his lustrous fleece and conformation. Giorgio's sire, Accoyo Armani, is fawn, and Giorgio has a fawn forelock. So, I'm sure he carries color. He's a big (not huge) boy with an elegant, strong conformation. He's in with 8 other intact males, and they all get along, for the most part. We have way too many excellent quality junior herdsires with great pedigrees, so we are offering all at ridiculously low prices on auction. After we sell the first 2, the prices will go up. Snowmass Matrix Cashmina is the very treasured daughter of a prized light fawn Snowmass female, Snowmass Cashmina who sold for a pretty penny at the Making of Champions Auction. Her sire is the living legend, Snowmass Matrix. Cashmina carries the perfect conformation, uniformity and density of fleece, and presence of her illustrious sire. Her first cria has "Snowmass" written all over him--that presence and conformation and lovely fleece! Cashmina had a gorgeous white male cria in early July, 2012, by Snowmass Seven Below. In honor of his parents, his name is Snowmass Cold Cash. See how proud and perfect his conformation is! Snowmass Matrix Cashmina bred to Snowmass Best Man, before he went off to the good life in Switzerland. She had a lovely daughter, MRN Best Man's Ultima from that breeding. She is now bred to our Halter and Fleece RC, MRN Prime Starrr. There isn't much to improve on Cashmina, but Prime Starrr repeats a lot of her outstanding characteristics AND contributes a super-long staple length and perfect bite.
