Sadly, we lost Warrior in a dog attack at our farm in 2019. When we decided to add a black herdsire to our lineup, we knew that Black Warrior was the boy we wanted. He is the full package, beautiful typey head, fleece that rivals light color fleece and genetics that are spectacular and new to our herd. We hope to be able to continue on with our friend Alan's plan for this fine young male. We are truly impressed with his lack of guard hair and density in his true black fleece. We are looking forward to putting some color into our herd. Histogram for Black Warrior: 1st Year: 19.1/22.2/1.7 2nd Year: 20.7/19.7/2.1 Spring 2015 ~ Warrior's first 2 cria are on the ground! Med fawn (Hayley) and a med brown (Mason) - both out of white girls. Amazing bundles and crimp on both babies. Well worth the wait for these lovely babies! Way to go Warrior! Fall 2015 - Warrior sired the lightest silver gray cria (Max) out of a MSG dam. What a pretty little boy! Warrior continues to give us some of the nicest babies on the farm. Don't miss a chance to put him to use on your girls. Our beloved Warrior was killed in the spring of 2019 in a dog attack.

After a bit of a difficult labor, Eternity graced us with this lovely young lady. From the minute she hit the ground, we knew she was something special. Pink is what we call a talker. Just touch her and she'll tell you about it. She is very people friendly and loves to talk with the visitors. Her genetics are a book of Who's Who. She's also graced us with the finest fiber to date on the farm - an amazing 16.7! We have been happy with every cria she's produced. She is one of our best foundations girls. June 2015 ~ Pink just had a beautiful coppery male out of Black Warrior. Very lovely crimp and bundling on this young man. Pink has earned her well deserved retirement. She has a place with us until the end of time. At 2 weeks old, her image became the logo of my company, The Alpaca Yarn Company. She remains the friendliest alpaca we've ever had and she is priceless to us.

Description

Pink has done it again - giving us a beautiful coppery boy with blinding brightness. We are very pleased with the pairing between Pink and Warrior. This boy is sweet, curious and looks like he will have exceptional fleece. By the time shearing came around in the spring of 2016, this boy was looking good. I'm not a breeder of darker fawns and browns, but this fleece is spectacular! Coming in just over 17 micron, the hand on this fleece is incredible. I don't breed browns but if you want some spectacular fleece, this boy will produce for you!
