ELITE MAXIMUS IS CLOSED TO OUTSIDE BREEDINGS AT THIS TIME At 12 yrs old his 2013 histogram is STILL 19 micron! The Elite Maximus is one of those few animals who possess instant name recognition in the alpaca world. His reputation as a herdsire, and before that, in the show ring, is second to none. For many years he was the linchpin of Park View Alpacas' huacaya breeding program, and his many offspring have carried his low micron count and incredibly dense buttery fleece to victory in the showring. In 2011 Park View Alpacas went to the AOBA National Show with four huacayas that had been sired by The Elite Maximus – they we MAXED out! 1st Place Get of Sire! 1st Place Produce of Dam! Judges’ Choice Female Huacaya! We don’t believe any other Huacaya breeder has ever matched these results. Two of his offspring were available at the 2011 Prestige Alpaca Auction, including 1 of his Judge’s Choice daughters – Camilina. This was a unique opportunity to add this particular combination of genetics to your herd! All told, offspring of The Elite Maximus have earned 25 Color Champion and Reserve Color Champion banners, 4 Judges’ Choice Awards, and 2 IAO Best Head awards. That’s just for halter classes. In fleece classes you’ll find a Supreme Champion, 6 Color and Reserve Champion banners, Best Crimp awards and Most Uniform Breeding Program awards. And of course, that’s just to date. Next year is coming! The list of The Elite Maximus’ offspring and their accomplishments is considerable. Of most immediate recognitions were the Prestige Auction headliners, Camilina, who sold for $55,000 as a 2nd Generation Color Champion and Judges’ Choice female huacaya. Don’t forget Cambria, who sold for $20,000 and 2011 International Alpaca Odyssey Best Head and highest score Walking Fleece winner. The Elite Maximus started his illustrious show career when he was only 8 months old, winning Res. COLOR CHAMPION at the 2002 Columbia Alpaca Breeders Association show. He then went on to win the JUDGE’S CHOICE Award at the Canadian International Fleece Show and the 2006 AWE fleece show. The Local, Regional, National and International awards and ribbons started stacking up from there! The Elite Maximus transitioned from the show ring to herdsire, that those awards were just the beginning of an amazing, award-winning dynasty? With the 1/2 interest sale of The Elite Maximus with our new partners, Irish Meadows Alpacas, we have decided to close The Elite Maximus to outside breeding. We do and will have many females now bred to him and offspring on the farm for sale. Stop by and take a look! You won't be disappointed.

CHECK OUT HIS 2014 HISTOGRAM AT 47 MONTHS Albertino is a charming and friendly fellow with a lot of self confidence. He completed two years of successful showing for Park View Alpacas, and now resides at Alta Vida Alpacas in Parker, CO. He is ready and interested in breeding with 2 beautiful cria growing up strong and fine at AVA. Recent review by AOBA judge noted: "top knot is buttery soft with good frequency" "good crimp" "testicles well developed, good size and equal, both firm" "level top line" with "good angulations". His beautiful fleece is rich to the touch, with lots of crimp. PVA showed his first year fleece at the 2012 IAO, where he took a first place ribbon. Judge Wade Gease admired Albertino's fineness, and "delicate crimp style." At the 2012 CABA Classic, Judge Cheryl Gehley commented how "wonderfully fine and soft!!" Albertino's fleece is--she also gave him high marks for uniformity of micron, brightness, and crimp. The judges at the 2012 AOBA National show gave him a full 20/20 points for fineness and handle, 7/8 points for uniformity of micron, and 9/10 for the ratio between primary and secondary fibers. There's something about the result of this cross between The Elite Maximus and Allure of PVA...everyone should have one!

Description

Champagne and Roses is tall and well built, with lovely fawn fleece. To date she has born 5 cria. Her first two crias, both males, are by Snowmass Millenium. Her third, a white female, is by Quechua's Verticase, and the cria she bore in October 2012, another white female, is also by Verticase. Her fifth cria is a white male by Quecha's Verticase, wrinkled skin and dense fleece. Her current breeding is to a robust male out of The Elite Maximus, our own Albertino of PVA. Albertino has amazing fleece, strong conformation and is just now getting started with his herd sire duties. This mating has the potential to produce some of the most amazing fiber we've ever seen...Champagne could be the steal of the year for your herd. Drop us a line to stop by and take a look, Champagne would love to meet you. Champagne does it again! Beautiful, dense and fine fleeced, pure white boy from Albertino and Champagne. This was a carefully selected line breeding to accentuate the amazing fiber characteristics of both their sires: The Elite Maximus! Take a look at his stats and record and then give us a call to set up a time to come by and take a look. This little stud is the real deal!
