OMG! Atticus gave us three incredibly fine fleeced cria in 2011. Extreme fineness, bundling, big time density, brightness and color, it's all there! We invite you to stop by to feel the density and fineness (not to mention heavy bone and great heads) that he is stamping on his babies! Watch out for these cria to hit the show ring in the fall of 2012 - they are going to be exciting to watch. We knew this handsome full Peruvian CL9 Altair son was sure to bring our herd to a new level and he does NOT disappoint! ATTICUS WON HIS FLEECE CLASS AT NATIONALS TWO YEARS IN A ROW!!! Atticus won his Medium Fawn fleece class at Nationals in 2005 AND 2006. In 2006 he won his class of 12 that included alpacas from Snowmass, Magical Farm, and Portas Nirvana to name a few. We are very proud of our new boy! Aug 09: Atticus' first cria's histogram made us stand up and take notice! Andromeda's AFD tested at AFD 15.6, SD 3.6, CV 22.8, over 30 microns 0.8%!!!Needless to say, with his offspring's numbers testing like that, more Atticus babies are on the way. Feb 09: Atticus won 2nd Place and Res. Color Champ at the 2009 TxOLAN Fleece show in the Fawn Color Division. We looked close at the score cards and realized that Atticus lost to the Fawn Color Champion who took first in his age division by 1/2 point (C & D combined - and the Color Champ is almost 1 1/2 years younger).

Dam:

LV Harmonia

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 30820838DOB: 2/18/200718 yrs
November 2019 - Harmonia has been rebred to Snowmass Smokin. Her 1st Smokin cria is a lovely chocolate brown color with black points - very, very, dense too. What's not to love? What do you say about a female who consistently produces blue ribbon winning and champion offspring, births and nurses with ease, is a great mum to her cria, is an easy keeper in the herd, knows her name, holds her fineness and produces lovely fleece year after year - ROCKSTAR!! A.K.A Harmonia, this lovely dam holds a place in my heart and in our herd that's more than just the sum of all of her fantastic qualities. As a youngster, she tore it up in the show ring taking quite a few honors and producing the most marvelous marroon-ish colored fleece. I was sold the minute I laid eyes on her and am blessed to this day by the fact that she was the 1st female I purchased for the ranch. Of course, Harmonia continues to reign supreme out in the pasture. She has gone on to become the QUEEN ROCKSTAR of the ranch, welcoming all new cria and herd mates, and of course, producing some mighty nice offspring of her own. Each one of her offspring has gone on to not only win in the show ring but also produce champions of their own. The consistency shown in Harm's offspring, and their offspring is amazing; we're seeing lasting fineness, above-average density, beautiful fleece architecture, long-staple length and brightness across the board. Simply put, the Harmonia line just ROCKS! Uniformity, consistency, fineness, density and a great mothering ability - you can't ask for more. We couldn't be happier with what we see in her and is the reason why Harmonia remains part of the ROCKSTAR foundation herd.

Description

Jumping Jack Flash is the son of our own ROCKSTAR foundation dam LV Harmonia and Sagebrush Atticus, a gorgeous medium fawn Peruvian Aladdin grandson, sired by CL9 Altair. Flash is the spitting image of his sire in white. And given the fact that he is white, we believe he will easily have the ability to pass on color to offspring given all the color in his pedigree. Flash has a very soft, dense, bright, buttery feel to his fleece with a bolder crimp style that shows good organization and uniformity across his blanket, and carries it up to his topknot and down his legs. He stands tall but very evenly balanced with great substance of bone, level topline, perfect bite and a masculine head. He is an absolute sweetheart to handle and loves to eat carrots for a treat. We offer Flash up for sale to the discriminating buyer looking for the genetics of Aladdin,Felix and CL9 Altair. The dams on the maternal side of his pedigree are rock solid proven producers know for quality of their offspring and championship potential. We believe Flash can continue in that legacy for many years to come. Please give us a call and consider making this young male part of your herd.
