Butter Cup's Diamond AMY

Alpaca, Huacaya, Open (Female) | White, Light Fawn, Light Brown

DOB: 5/24/2014 (10 yrs)

Sire: DESTELLO (Fireworks!)

SNOWMASS DeBeers(of Diamonds)/Hemingway/Champ+!

DESTELLO (Fireworks!)

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White, Beige
AOA# 1301212DOB: 7/3/200519 yrs
He's sired by SNOWMASS DEBEERS (Snowmass "OF DIAMONDS")! Why we like to name his offspring "Diamond ...". THREE FEMALES IN ROW...ALL DIFFERENT COLORS!! All classy w.. "density, crimp & SOFT (shown bottom of page)! Sire- Snowmass DeBeers, received 1st place in class of 7 Mature white males in 2004 at MAPACA Eastern Alpaca Jubilee. Judge Mike Safley said: "This male exhibits excellent fleece characteristics and is carrying good consistency in crimp and fineness as well as density for a "45 month old (almost 4 yrs old). He is a very nice animal." That's just beginning of fantastic lineage! De Beers was sired by Peruvian SNOWMASTER (I've found a few sons in USA & I have offspring from lines of two sons)! Peruvian Snowmaster, was SNOWMASS Alpacas record-selling male (at time), and sold to a farm in Australia for approximately 250,000. Australia later sold Snowmaster to his dam's native Peru, making him the ONLY (1st) North American born Alpaca to be BOUGHT & IMPORTED TO PERU... and leaving only a limited number offspring in North America! So far DESTELLO has sired 3 females with Nuera, Mentirosa &Buttercup (our faithful, great lineage, exceptional mother's). Grama Mentirosa looked to ends of pasture to find where we took her daughter Buttercup's cria! Nephew "Rayo's Master of Snow and Smoke Storm" has some diamond-like Lt. Silver shimmering in his fleece... so we understand why Destello's sire was named Snowmass "De Beers" (meaning: Snowmass "of diamonds"). Our males pass on qualities like SOFTNESS, crimp, density & stature you can see in pic's here! His dam, Carmen's sire was also a champion! Her medium fawn SIRE,our BIG BOY's sire, was Owned by an AOBA judge. He took BLUE RIBBON at both--- MAPACA & AOBA NATIONALS in 2000, w ribbons to follow! Kensington has produced over 30 cria from white to medium brown... found online that not so long ago he was still priced $75,000. Even Silver & Rose Greys are in his lineage! He kept winning ribbons. So Destello is packed with WINNING GENES from BOTH his sire & dam lineage. De Beers' dam was Snowmass Peruvian Purenya (HEMINGWAY daughter)! Hemingway's is known for passing "FINENESS genes!" Destello stands/acts/looks "full of class". He was named Destello because he was born eve' of JULY 4. HE's TRUE TO HIS NAME AS A BREEDER...records show will breed ANY TIME! Destello's dam's from Champion Ameripaca's Kensington (Kensington's lines are Acero Marka's Bonanza and Acero Marka's Champ)! The result of CVA Carmen pairing w Snowmass De Beers was so impressive, that CVA Carmen was bred to Snowmass DeBeers 3 times in a row (repeated 2x after Destello was born..got females). Carmen had Black, Brown & Dark Fawn in her background and produced from white (or beige) to colors (her 2005 son & 2006 & 2007 daughters)! She was said to be a fantastic dam.. attentive, w plenty of milk. Her price after two, or 3, cria with De Beers was still listed as $19,000. De Beers was also a champion youth & as sire.

Not yet for Sale..fleece bundles..cria DIVINE! Buttercup is from sire: Chimbote's Corazon, & grand-sire were Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote...from Auzengate. Corazon's dam Ma Renee was from 6Peruvuian Ron Hutson & CVA's Baba Au Rhum...lineage that included MSGrey! Baba was from Acero Marka's Forward Pass & Snowmass Sierra!! Buttercup's cria is beautiful "Amy of Harmony Springs", born May 24, 2014, w energy & standing less than 1hr...nursing by 2 hrs ! Sire, DESTELLO, was of Snowmass DeBeers/ Hemingway/Bonanza lines... with Royal Fawn & World Class Smoke Storm lineage too. Her paternal half-sister is Nevaeh (1st cousin=Ginger)...all three have Macusani & Fleecy Dale Bon-Bon lineage...beautiful, great stature/temperament, crimping dense fleece (she bundled this yr). Service sire, white Destello, has produced 100% (3) females. He' very dense/crimping...his stature is wonderful with an easy temperament. He does like to compete rarely w Rayo's Master of Snow (Snowman), his nephew through Destello's half-sister "Cotton" (also Snowmass DeBeers/Hemingway lines). Chimbote's Corazon sired 2 of our girls. who have amazing crimp. Mentirosa's Buttercup's fiber also competes w half-sister Jasmine's daughter, Crystal of White and Silver BonBon in bundling fleece. I found online: Her grandsire, Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote, was sired by the world famous AUZENGATE who was exported to Australia after being purchased for well over $100,000. AUZENGATE LEFT ONLY 7 SONS IN USA when exported to Australia! Chimbote was one of them, and we have 3 of his granddaughters thru his sons GG Ulysses & Chimbotte's Corazon!! Buttercup's sire is Chimbotte's Corazon. This is what Mountain Edge Alpacas, LLC said about their famous sire Chimbote (I read also that 2 of the 7 Auzengate sons in USA had been at their farm): Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote won second place at his first AOBA National Convention in 1998, a first place at the Eastern Alpaca Jubilee in 1999 and a third place in an extremely large class of 23 alpacas at the National Convention in Louisville in 2000. He continued to impress judges with his magnificent conformation and super dense fleece. In every halter class he has entered, he has won either a first, second or third, despite the significant competition of the best animals from all over the United States (All-WHITE class). At the Louisville convention on June 4th (age 4), he sheared an incredible 12.65 pounds of fleece and that did not even include his legs. Chimbote was owned by an AOBA judge as well, and had everything you wish for in a herdsire. His incredible presence in the ring elicited raves from judges. A prolific breeder, Chimbote settled his females quickly and efficiently and had a female offspring ratio of over 70 %. At age four, Chimbote sheared 12.65 pounds of fiber. He did well in the show ring...never took less than a third place in the very competitive white classes. Sadly, Chimbote died-June 2006 MAKING US VALUE GENETICS EVEN MORE.

Description

NOT 4 SALE! JUST LOOK AT THE CHAMPION OR WORLD CLASS NAMES IN HER LINEAGE! BETWEEN DESTELLO AND BUTTERCUP, SHE CAN'T FAIL TO HAVE A GREAT LINEAGE!! Not planning to sell her as she is "HOPE for our farms Future Success, as is Lazer, Rayo's SNOW, WINGS, Amado..all cria!" Born on owner AMY's birthday, she plans to hang onto her namesake quite a while! THIS IS OUR 2nd CRIA THAT'S "BOTH" BRED AND BORN AT THIS FARM! We've raised males WINGS (1 1/2wks old), and AMADO was born at HARMONY SPRINGS FARMS just 2 days past owner AMY's birthdate and raised here too. After 1st shear, was commented: So calm during shearing & she's a "show girl." This is BUTTERCUP'S FIRST CRIA, and DESTELLO'S 3RD (He's thrown 3 FEMALES... every one dense & SOFT ...each a different color). DESTELLO IS ESTABLISHING A RECORD OF ALL FEMALE OFFSPRING! GRAND-DAM MENTIROSA watches over her too. She looked all over the large field until she found little AMY and her daughter Buttercup in the barn... then she watched over them inside and out. Cria AMY was up on her feet VERY quickly and found her mother's milk-bar quickly as well. She's AMY to us and her formal name "Butter Cup's Amy of Harmony Springs." Her fiber is dense, crimped...reminds us of stories about most of her ancestry. Her temperament is that of a calm little lady... you just want to 'touch" that nice heavy coat of fiber! Read about Chimbotte below!!..and about Snowmass DeBeers' success stories...her ancestry is great! Lineage of Destello gives her Snowmass De Beers, HEMINGWAY, Acero Marka's Bonanza, Ameripaca's Kensington, Acero Marka's CHAMP & Mountain Edge Viento. Lineage of DAM Buttercup gives her Peruvian AUZENGATE & Peruvian Accoyo CHIMBOTE, Chimbotte's Corazon, 6Peruvian Ron Hudson IMPR98, CVA's Baba Au Rhum, Acero Marka's FORWARD PASS, Snowmass SIERRA, CPeruvian JAXON 114 IMPF98, Peruvian MACUSANI G204 & Fleecy Dale BON-BON,Ivory Pond's PACO, German SAMSON GA05... MOUNTAIN EDGE wrote of Chimbotte (her grand-sire): Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote won a second place at his first AOBA National Convention in 1998 and a first place at the Eastern Alpaca Jubilee in 1999 and recently a third place in an extremely large class of 23 animals at the National Convention in Louisville in 2000. He continues to impress judges with his magnificent CONFORMATION and SUPER-DENSE FLEECE. In every halter class he has entered, he has won either a first, second or third, despite the significant competition of the best animals from all over the United States. At the Louisville convention on June 4th, he "sheared an incredible 12.65 pounds of fleece and that did not even include his legs." Chimbote's sire was Auzengate, the FIRST PICK of 550 alpacas in the 1995 Peruvian importation! Best of all, 70% of Chimbote's crias have been female. She's got great GENES and DAM Buttercup's fiber, so she's turning out to become one of our BEST Dam's yet. We may take her to Halter Shows with aunt Nevaeh's Amado! And, now, Cot
