Not yet for Sale..fleece bundles..cria DIVINE! Buttercup is from sire: Chimbote's Corazon, & grand-sire were Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote...from Auzengate. Corazon's dam Ma Renee was from 6Peruvuian Ron Hutson & CVA's Baba Au Rhum...lineage that included MSGrey! Baba was from Acero Marka's Forward Pass & Snowmass Sierra!!
Buttercup's cria is beautiful "Amy of Harmony Springs", born May 24, 2014, w energy & standing less than 1hr...nursing by 2 hrs ! Sire, DESTELLO, was of Snowmass DeBeers/ Hemingway/Bonanza lines... with Royal Fawn & World Class Smoke Storm lineage too. Her paternal half-sister is Nevaeh (1st cousin=Ginger)...all three have Macusani & Fleecy Dale Bon-Bon lineage...beautiful, great stature/temperament, crimping dense fleece (she bundled this yr).
Service sire, white Destello, has produced 100% (3) females. He' very dense/crimping...his stature is wonderful with an easy temperament. He does like to compete rarely w Rayo's Master of Snow (Snowman), his nephew through Destello's half-sister "Cotton" (also Snowmass DeBeers/Hemingway lines). Chimbote's Corazon sired 2 of our girls. who have amazing crimp. Mentirosa's Buttercup's fiber also competes w half-sister Jasmine's daughter, Crystal of White and Silver BonBon in bundling fleece.
I found online:
Her grandsire, Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote, was sired by the world famous AUZENGATE who was exported to Australia after being purchased for well over $100,000. AUZENGATE LEFT ONLY 7 SONS IN USA when exported to Australia! Chimbote was one of them, and we have 3 of his granddaughters thru his sons GG Ulysses & Chimbotte's Corazon!! Buttercup's sire is Chimbotte's Corazon.
This is what Mountain Edge Alpacas, LLC said about their famous sire Chimbote (I read also that 2 of the 7 Auzengate sons in USA had been at their farm): Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote won second place at his first AOBA National Convention in 1998, a first place at the Eastern Alpaca Jubilee in 1999 and a third place in an extremely large class of 23 alpacas at the National Convention in Louisville in 2000. He continued to impress judges with his magnificent conformation and super dense fleece. In every halter class he has entered, he has won either a first, second or third, despite the significant competition of the best animals from all over the United States (All-WHITE class). At the Louisville convention on June 4th (age 4), he sheared an incredible 12.65 pounds of fleece and that did not even include his legs. Chimbote was owned by an AOBA judge as well, and had everything you wish for in a herdsire. His incredible presence in the ring elicited raves from judges. A prolific breeder, Chimbote settled his females quickly and efficiently and had a female offspring ratio of over 70 %. At age four, Chimbote sheared 12.65 pounds of fiber. He did well in the show ring...never took less than a third place in the very competitive white classes. Sadly, Chimbote died-June 2006 MAKING US VALUE GENETICS EVEN MORE.
