EIGHT TIME CHAMPION--all at halter in full fleece! Marathon has ended his show career on the top as one of the best colored full Accoyo in this country. He exhibits incredible fleece with high amplitude, well-bundled, long staple length fiber. Marathon truly has fiber-to-be-seen...and felt. His extremely bright, soft fleece has an outstanding hand that has impressed people across the nation! To describe his fleece as the "new generation" or "elite" is definitely in keeping with its qualities. While this impressive male in not yet proven, he is showing all the right attitude to make him a great stud. Needless to say, we are extremely excited about the prospects of his progeny--from a wide range of colored and white females. Marathon is limited to ten outside breedings in his first year of breeding. There are currently two outside breedings left on his dance card! Marathon is co-owned with Irish Meadow Alpacas and The Alpaca Group, NW.

Orphelia, a black daughter of Patagonia's grey Danko, was a second place winner in an international rules show. She has jet black, fine, dense fiber with good coverage. Her first cria, Patagonia's Nishio's Nishielia, out of Herdsire of the Year, Nishio, was a consistent placer and class winner in 2005 shows. Her 2005 cria, Bedelia, is a dark brown female sired by Mile High's Castano Bay. Bedelia continued in the winning ways of her older sister and won blue ribbons in Mason City and Denver! Orpehlia's 2006 cria, T. Will, out of Mile High Alpacas' Rev. Mr. Black, is a stunning true black male born in September,2006. T.Will won a reserve color championship at the IAOBA show in April at six months of age. Orphelia was bred for a 2007 cria to Emerald Farm Alpacas' Orlando Cloud. Orlando Cloud is a grey son of McGwire (grandson of Victor) who has set the grey alpaca world on fire on the West Coast. Selling 25 introductory breeding in one weekend show in May,2006, he is a example of Accoyo fiber in a grey animal--outstanding bundling, fineness, brightness and incredible crimp literally from head to toe. The Orphelia-Orlando Cloud male grey cria arrived 10/14/2007--WOW! We don't believe we have ever seen such crimp on a new-born grey alpaca. Grey Ark's Stratus, has developed into an exciting grey stud prospect. He place second in a class of 17 grey yearling males at the November, 2008 MId America show in Topeka. He was second to the eventual color champion. Orphelia's fifth cria, the 2008 edition is an outstanding grey male out of Giorgio Armani, the rose grey male owned by River Bluff Farm in Missouri. This little male is incredibly dense with great crimp--look for him in the fall, 2009 shows.

Description

M&M does it again in Springfield. Bringing home the blue to make him a now 5 x blue ribbon winner, CC and RC. Judge Kevin O'Leary commented on what a pleasant surprise to open his fiber and see that bright, fine crimp so full of density and character. M & M (Marathon Man) is a beautiful bay black male from 8 time champion Accoyo America Marathon. Marathon has given M & M his beautiful dense, crimpy fleece with his mom's black color. He is a big boned solid male with great confirmation. In his first show, Alpacas of the Ozarks, he went to the front of the black juveniles right away. Judge Sharon Loner was impressed with his style, crimp, density and staple length. Marathon Man was then awarded the Color Champion over the yearling black males.
