Genesee has produced year after year for us with show quality/champion offspring. She has earned lifetime security here and paid for herself over and over. Genesee is an easy breeder and remains on an accurate breeding schedule. You often hear of those "favorite" foundation females when speaking to alpaca breeders across the country - no doubt, Genesee is our Queen and we would never part with her unless the entire herd was for sale and we were pleased with her new home and future care. Impressario is an impressive male with an incredible fleece. He has a very tight, yet deep crimp style and the crimp is very uniform. Impressario also has a very strong and respectable pedigree. His dam, Mile High Peruvian Genesee, is a three time Colour Champion and a female that has produced high quality/show champion offspring just like her dam. Genesee is a daughter of Maple Brook Fandango and one of Sharon Loner's top females! Impressario's sire, Poseidon's Accoyo Latigo is an impressive stud with an equally impressive third year fleece. He too is a two time Champion. He was more than ready to begin his breeding career at 23 months of age so was retired from showing quite early. Latigo's sire, Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon is an exceptional male with exceptional density (92 follicles/sq. m). Poseidon is a 3 time Colour Champion and has multiple 1st place Get of Sire ribbons to his credit. Latigo's dam is a 4Peruvian Legacy daughter! Impressario was shown once before we purchased him and he placed 2nd in a large class. The 1st place male went on to win Grand Champion but we think Impressario had the better fleece hands down so we bought him! The fleece picture to the right includes Impressario's fleece on top and his sire's third year fleece underneath. Impressario's first offspring, SVA Impressario's Apollo was 2nd at the 2011 ALPACA Spring Show! We are expecting a couple more in 2013!
