On August 17, 2006 Jubilee produced a beautiful bay black female cria, Avalon's Java Jive, by our multiple Get-of-Sire winner, AFA Royal Peruvian Aristocrat. As a yearling, Java was a Color Champion. See Java's separate AE listing under Alpacas for Sale. Jubilee is a lovely grey female with a dispositon that matches her name. She is an excellent mom, trouble free birther, and a good milk producer. Her crias' IgG test results are always 2000 +!! Bred to black and rose grey she has had four true black crias, including: Black Diamond (blue ribbon winner-picture at right), a Peruvian Matador son (Sold); Avalon's Liberty Belle; Avalon's Jet Set (multiple blue ribbon winner, Reserve Color Champion, and Color Champion - SOLD); and now Avalon's Black Pearl (SOLD). With a silver dam and sire, it would be interesting to see if Jubilee would throw a silver grey cria bred to silver! We rebred Jubilee to our Black Color Champion, Lace's Peruvian Black Lance. Together they produced a handsome dark brown/bay black son, Avalon's Jedi Knight. This little guy is thrilled with life, joyously romping, often in the lead with his cria friends. He is handsome, and has fine crimpy fiber on his well conformed frame. We are very excited about our multiple-Champion true black herdsire, Our Peruvian Black Jag, and we chose to breed Jubilee to Jag, anticipating that this handsome pair will produce an nice grey or black cria. Their individual characteristics and genetics are well suited to complement each other and the resultant offspring should be outstanding! Update: Oratorio's biospy (Ian Watt) is back. A density of 43! Plus he has fineness! Oratorio is such an impressive male with a great temperment. RESERVE CHAMPION! Only his second show. Judge comments: "Excellent conformation, great fineness, nice staple length, Great uniformity across fleece..." This male has excited us from the moment we saw him. 1/2 Accoyo. Wonderful carriage, beautiful fiber... Did we mention he is a rare 1/2 accoyo grey? And check out his thick chest. Oratorio is a sight to behold and visitors single him out on every visit.
