North East Lucy
Alpaca, Huacaya, Bred (Female) | White
AOA #30903975 | DOB: 8/6/2006 (18 yrs)
Sire: 6Peruvian Accoyo Plantel 5054Impr98
6Peruvian Accoyo Plantel 5054IMPR98 is a full Accoyo herdsire with a very dense fleece, great fleece character, outstanding bold looks and a beautiful head. He was the Accoyo male chosen first in the 1998 import. He has excellent conformation and is one of those phenotypically-handsome males who "stop you in your tracks." We use Accoyo Plantel in our breeding program when we need to add density, (sheering 16lbs at his peak) bone structure, fleece character, and of course, phenotype. If you want to add all the above and not compromise color, consider breeding Plantel to your colored females. He passes the color along while improving the fleece characteristics and phenotype of his offspring.

Description
North East Lucy is sired by 6 Peruvian Accoyo Plantel. One look at Lucy and you can tell it's true! North East Lucy's dam is Maxine, a full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo daughter of Felix and a Hemingway granddaughter. The Accoyo and Hemingway lines are an exceptional cross!
North East Lucy has a nice square appearance, a well shaped head with short spear shaped ears, straight legs, and thick bone. Her fleece reflects the silky soft handle for which Hemingway genetics are known for, crossed with the powerful qualities of the Accoyo lines.
Emme's Alpacas is excited and honored to have Lucy as a foundation female!
