Indiana Jones (Indy) is an Exceptional Herdsire. He was shown only once by his previous owners and was awarded a Second Place. He has incredibly fine and dense fleece. His coverage is head to toe and consistent throughout. With the champions in his bloodline he has incredible potential. More to come as he graduates to a herdsire and prepares for his next show. Indy is Full Peruvian and Half Alianza which brings an extraordinary combination to his lineage. We can't wait to see offspring from Indy. He will be bred to one or more of our top females this year. His Grand Dam is PPPeruvian Azul Celeste 4865. Azul Celeste may very well be one of the best white females ever imported into the United States. She was imported from the Rural Alianza region of Peru, well known for it's Quality. Azul is the Dam to some amazing sires including Rensselaer and El Senor and Grand Dam to The Aga Khan. Rensselaer has many Champion offspring, El Senor recently sold at auction for $165,000 and Khan is an 11 time Champion. Everything she puts on the ground goes straight to the show ring. Indiana has his first cria one the ground and she is an absolute beauty. A wonderfully perfect rose grey female out of Timpani. Her name is Akiko and has been sold to Twin Springs Alpacas. We wish Rob and Jamie the very best with Akiko.

When we purchased Timpani she was a maiden and we had no idea what her cria would be like. She took a first place at her very first halter show. We decided to breed her and Timpani has been putting winners on the ground since. She is a foundation animal that we would have a very hard time selling. See the stats on her 2nd son Conga to see the quality of genetics she is passing to her progeny. Timpani has been rebred to Nobility because we believe Tom Tom is even better than Conga and Bongo. Most farms would be upset with a female who was producing majority males, but we feel she is incredible and her winning offspring are going to further these amazing genetics. Timpani has produced another great male. His name is Nobility's Darbuka. Darbuka is just as amazing as his brothers and is ready to be shown in the fall. Darbuka is sold. We bred Timpani to our Oakhill's Indiana Jones and she has produced her first female. A beautiful Rose Grey with all the great traits she has passed to her previous offspring. This is Indy's first offspring. We are so excited about the combination we have rebred to Indy.

Description

When we first saw this pretty little princess, our eyes were drawn to the flashy color and style of her fleece. As we got closer to her, we discovered it wasn’t so much the “flash” that drew us in…but the whole package! We just LOVE this girl! Although she is a sight to behold in the pastures, we must comment about her actual fiber and conformation traits! Akiko's parents (a fawn x a grey) generously passed on traits for a winning combination. Soft, fine, dense, crimpy fiber covers a beautiful upright frame that moves fluidly and smoothly on this rose grey female. As a juvenile, Akiko certainly loves life and is a little rambunctious - so watching her "flash" around the pastures with the other crias is a joy. As a package, this bundle of energy is eye catching! Watch for her on the Fall 2013 show circuit!
