If lustrous, fine gray is what you like, and you insist also on perfect conformation you can't do any better than breeding with this guy. Threads has sired many gray babies for us. We have several of them for sale now.

SRR Liberty's Silver Jewel

SuriBred (Female)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 1340327DOB: 10/30/200420 yrs
Silver Jewel is one of our finest gray females. She is a blue-gray tuxedo with not a hint of brown anywhere. She has perfect conformation and always has a proud bearing. She has passed on her extremely dense blue-gray fleece to her cria, Silver Splendor, as well as the stylish locks. Out of two grey parents, we acquired Jewel at the AOBA National Conference Auction in Salt Lake City in 2005. Her Sire is silver gray Virgo El Boliviano, well-known for his ability to throw grays. Her Dam is Tin Roof's Peruvian Liberty, also gray, from the Condor/Gunsmoke line. She has produced 3 out of 3 silver gray babies, and consistently breeds quickly and productively. A good mom, easy birther, lots of milk. Her son, TS Silver Splendor took 2nd at AOBA National. He was never beat by another classic silver gray in his class. We are keeping him as herdsire for our ranch, and we can hardly wait to see his offspring. Jewel produced another beautiful silver gray boy, Flurry, in 2010 also a WLK Silver Threads cria. On 6/1/11 she gave us yet another silver gray baby, this time female, this year - TS Silver Gem She is bred back to Silver Threads for a 2012 cria.

Description

Update: At just a little over 8 months and her very first show...Silver-Gem stole the Carolina Alpaca Celebration in the very first class by winning not only her class but Color Championship! Everyone who looked at her fleece said the same thing, "Wow, what great luster and density! Silver-Gem is a gorgeous classic medium silver grey female is stunning! Grey has always been “hot” and this kind of quality is hard to find. She is dense with excellent overall coverage and uniform locks throughout her fleece. Gem’s gorgeous head attracts all suri breeders. She is well conformed with a straight topline, correct bite, straight legs and a high degree of luster. Add to that her wonderful personality and you the perfect addition to your herd! When you look at her bloodlines this Silver-Gem will not only add color to your show string but when it comes time to breed her you can be almost assured of grey offspring. Her sire is a multi-champion classic medium silver grey - WLK Silver Threads. He may be our best kept grey secret! We recently purchased Silver Threads after reviewing his amazing ability to produce grey. Every time Threads was bred to grey or black he produced grey or black! Gem’s dam, Silver’s Liberty is also a gorgeous silver grey and has produced only grey or black= 3 medium silver greys and 1 true black! The genetics are there for this young female to produce strong grey color. She comes with affordable financing as well as full fertility guarantee.
