Hemi has begun his career as a herd sire with six ARI registered cria on the ground. Four are females, two dark brown girls (when bred to bay or true black dams), two white cria (when bred to white dams), one light brown (when bred to a medium brown dam) and one true black female (when bred to a double black Matador daughter). Lacy is a daughter of the half Accoyo bay black stud, Hemi-Accoyo of Tuccillo Farm. Hemi's sire, Mr. Accoyo Sandman OIJ is a full Accoyo son of two full Peruvian full Accoyos imported to Canada.
