HANDSOM ESS IMPACA

Handsom is wholly owned by Tuccillo Farm in Chesterfield, New Jersey and is offered exclusively via The Secret Meadow of Close-Knit Alpacas. This half Peruvian grandson of PPeruvian Felix and great grandson of the famed PPeruvian Caligula is also carrying forth the outstanding Bolivian genes of Acero Markas La Paz (dark fawn) and the Chilean true black sire of 37 dark ARI registered offspring (greys, browns and blacks mostly)... Blackthorn. Handsom has himself sired no fewer than 11 ARI registered offspring, mostly females (7) and all of color! His cria hit the ground between March 2008 and May 2010 in BG(1), LF (1), MF (1), MB (2), DB (2), TB (3) and DRG (1). I'd say he's off to a good start! He was not bred to any females since the great recession set in (or about 2010) but I suspect he wouldn't mind being put into service again if needed, or he's content to continue to provide his "handsom" color...which, by the way, does appear to be darker than the Light Fawn he's registered as. This happens a lot when crias are registered early - we later find that, after their first shearing, their true color is revealed. Four of Handsom's offspring are also for sale and on this sales list, so please take a close look at the following animals to get a better idea of what Handsom is all about: MARKUS ESS IMPACA (MB male); KODI KIOTI ESS IMPACA (DB male); KNIGHT NIGHT ESS IMPACA (TB male); KNEW BEE ESS IMPACA (DRG female)....all his other daughters have already sold, as have the last two of his sons, so clearly others have seen the quality traits within Handsom born out in his offspring. Make Handsom a part of your colored fiber herd today and experience all the benefits and blessings he will undoubtedly be able to provide to help you meet your alpaca farming goals! IRIS ERIS OF TUCCILLO FARM

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 30612358DOB: 8/27/200618 yrs
Iris Eris (aka "Iris") is owned by Tuccillo Farm of Chesterfield, New Jersey and she's offered here for sale exclusively by Close-Knit Alpacas as part of The Secret Meadow! In the Meadow you can purchase Iris individually, or as part of a unique, quality Collection (custom made by you, or already coordinated with other terrific alpacas)! Get to know the beautiful Iris.... Iris is a rare HALF-ACCOYO TRUE BLACK dam. She is the daughter of Mr. Accoyo Sandman OIJ, a medium fawn full Accoyo son of CPeruvian Accoyo Kekae 103 IMPF98 (an import from Peru to Canada), so, as you can see, Iris offers some uncommon Accoyo bloodlines. On her dam's side of her pedigree, Iris offers some very colorful Chilean genes, and you'll see nothing but dark shades of alpaca colorations, such as dark brown, medium brown, dark silver grey, medium silver grey, and, of course, lots of true black. Iris is a proven dam, having produced three ARI registered cria thus far. She has not been bred since fall of 2011's delivery of her daughter, Nancy Ess Impaca (a true black and already sold without transfer). Both of her sons are offered for sale, though, and can be seen on this sales list. Do take a look at MICKEY ESS IMPACA (Light Brown) and KNIGHT NIGHT ESS IMPACA (True Black) to get an idea of what this female can produce. According to the Tuccillo Farm Manager, Shirley Vaughn, Iris is "a good breeder and has good mothering qualities." She also notes that Iris' "crias are a bit smaller in body size" than most others, but they definitely catch up and are normal in stature and health, as well. Shirley went on to say that "Iris has a good temperament," and in one word describes Iris' attitude as "unconcerned." This tells me Iris is confident and secure in nature. Iris's 2012 shearing provided a yield of 4.5 lbs + a 2.5 lb blanket, for 7 lbs total, which isn't bad for a 6 year old production dam. Iris is worth serious consideration - don't you agree? Description

Knight is wholly owned by Tuccillo Farm of Chesterfield, NJ and is offered here exclusively by Close-Knit via The Secret Meadow - the place where new beginnings are born! He can be obtained individually or as part of a Secret Meadow Collection of quality alpacas coordinated and selected from the sales list on this site. Knight's best trait is, probably pretty obviously, his intense, deep, inky black fiber. If you've been looking for a sharp, snazzy looking, super dark, jet black alpaca for your fields and fiber needs, Knight Night is a great option! Knight's fleece is not the finest, however, so one may not want to breed him; however, that is certainly the buyer's option. Regardless, he's got decent fleece and other worthy qualities to consider...such as.... Knight's temperament: This is one laid back dude. Lineage: He's HALF Accoyo! And in true black! His sire is HANDSOM ESS IMPACA (also on this sales list, so do take a look at his listing to learn more about him and his background)...and Knight's dam is an intensely dark, true black dam known as IRIS ERIS OF TUCCILLO FARM. Please see her information and images on this sales list, too, to get the complete picture of what's behind Knight Night. In a nutshell, though, this boy is PACKED with extreme color behind him, from crazy great, white Accoyo genes via the famous PERUVIAN CALIGULA, to the awesome True Black stud, BLACKTHORN HST G463! You'll see lots of black and dark brown, but also some gorgeous Dark Silver Grey in his lineage, as well. Oh, and let me add, Knight Night's paternal Great Grandsire is none other than PPERUVIAN FELIX G4562! Knight's even got some incredible full Accoyos imported from Peru to Canada in his tree (genes UNCOMMON to the U.S.!) on his dams side. Last but not least - FORM: Knight's got a terrific presence, a good bite, nice, correct frame and well placed ears...plus, his teeth and nails grow rather slowly compared to other alpacas, so he'll require fewer trims!
