When Helix placed 1st at the 2004 AOBA Nationals, the judge commented that he had some of the best independent lock formation & luster that she had seen in the show. In his 1st show of 2005 he won the Color Championship in the level 5 Western Regional Alpaca Western Extravanza and he was the 2005 AOBA National Color Champion. With his excellent conformation, presence & dense fleece and the genetic base of Accoyo Bruxo & Accoyo Sedosa, Helix should be a prepotent herd sire capable of preserving color while upgrading fleece. Trinket's Sire is AABC Zeplin a Full Peruvian Black Suri whose offspring are award winners. Zeplin won Reserve Color Champion & 1st place at the 2002 AOBA National Show. Trinket's Dam is our lovely dark fawn vicuna colored Suri -Rosetta, whose sire is Ameripaca's Harry Brown, a well known maroon herdsire with numerous champions to his credit.
