Here is a real champion and a spectacular opportunity for any serious Alpaca breeder to add top-of-the-line genetics and overall quality characteristics to their herd. A clearly outstanding male, Gustav boasts a perfect bite, flawless conformation and a wonderful disposition. A full Peruvian, he is the son of the famous champion herd sire, PERUVIAN CONAN and Peruvian Jacey, both incredible examples of the pheno/genotype we look for in alpacas!
Gustav has dense, uniform and crimpy fleece, with an overall typey head and one of the best top knots you will ever see. This fine dark fawn has placed in every show he has participated in and has taken NINE first place ribbons and two championships in important shows such as AOBA Nationals, the Michigan International Alpaca Fest, the Ohio Alpaca Fest, the Western Ohio Triple Crown and the Kentucky North American Livestock Exposition.
Gustav is an active breeder with many spectacular registered cria, the majority FEMALE and a true black! He is well halter trained.
As we are closing our farm, he is being included in our MAKE AN OFFER option as well as the Open Herd auction format. He can be purchased for less than his breeding fees! Don't lose out on the opportunity to acquire a great herdsire for your females.

Description
Presenting Sir James of Rambling Rose. Mic is a regal True Black Huacaya male who has had a very brief show career, but has taken top honors in each show he's attended. Mic's incredible structure and presence catches everyone's eye as he saunters through, truly the king of the ring. In addition to his marvelous conformation, Mic has great fleece, with terrific crimp and consistency to the skin.
Those characteristics are directly the result of his impressive lineage - Conan, Peruvian Gustav, Remington and Request the Best are all contributing their own fantastic genetics. Through his dam's side, Mic has a long lineage of grey, so those looking for grey genetics will also be pleased.
Mic was bred to four females in 2010, and all four cria (2 females and 2 males) will be showing for the first time in 2011 at Spring Bling. The four are Bay Black, Bay Black, Dark Brown and Medium Brown in color, and showing early signs of being just as stunning as their father.
For 2011, Mic has had a True Black female (at Green Pastures Alpaca Ranch), a Medium Brown male (Rocky Flats Elk & Alpaca Farm), a Dark Brown female (at MBZ Alpacas) and 3 females (one Fawn, one Dark Fawn, and one Medium Brown) at Kele Alpacas. All six are beautiful cria, showing the best characteristics of their champion father. Mic definitely produces plenty of color!!
Just a few of Mic's attributes:
* Proven herdsire
* Strong color background
* Extremely dense fleece
* Crimping from top to bottom
* Incredible luster
* Typey head
* Fantastic conformation
* Friendly, inquisitive nature
* Gentle with the girls
UPDATE: Mic has done it again - his daughter Lady Margaret of Rambling Rose just took a blue ribbon at the Lucky 13 Spring Bling show!!!
