We are so excited to announce our newest addition and only TRUE BLACK Full Peruvian Female at our farm! Peruvian Bellatina is exactly what we were looking for when looking for a True Black. She is a compact square framed heavy boned gal with excellent proportions and amazing typiness. Her head is stunning with a full top knot and square nose. Her fleece is great too! She has wonderful crimp architecture and coverage, while showing off consistency, uniformity, fineness, density and luster! Her genetics are ALL fresh to our farm. Her dam is Peruvian Black Olive, a dam with a great show career – including a 1st and Reserve Championship Banner at OABA, and a great reproductive history – 100% FEMALE cria, 2 registered True Black & registered DB but shown BAY BLACK. Black Olive’s dam is a MF import ALSO with 100% FEMALE cria, 2 of which are True Black. Black Olive’s sire is possibly the most influential True Black Full Peruvian Import that came into the US, 4Peruvian Black Magic. He is was awarded 2nd in Get of Sire Classes and has countless champion offspring, including sons like 7x champ Black Epic, Nic Nac and Black Magic Man. He was very potent with color making a total of 224 registered cria – 66 TB, 23 BB, 12 grey and ONLY 7 WH. Bella’s sire is just as impressive, HPA Peruvian Black Comet. He is an inky black macho with an afd of 19.6 at 7 yrs. He is a 2nd place ribbon winning male in 3 shows. He is square and proud with superfine, dense, uniform fleece. He has a wonderful hand, total coverage and brightness as well. Out of the 20 registered offspring, 9 are TRUE BLACK…and ALL of his ancestors have covered TRUE BLACK too! His sire is Incan Magic – according to Snowmass the “finest full Peruvian rose grey” they have come across. Cas-Cad-Nac said Incan Magic is the premier gray herdsire of the North American Alpaca Studs. With density and ultra fine fleece inherited from his dam who in 2006 at 15 yr had an AFD of <17! Black Comet’s Dam is a 2nd place AOBA fleece winner sire by Peruvian Drambuie, the foundation herdsire for Snowmass, and sire of Snowmass Nova’s dam. He was awarded a collection of blues and banners in the shows and has only 46 registered offspring before going to Australia and Canada. We have her bred to AROSA Tuscan Black – ELITE BLACK.
