October 2008 Chai again delighted us with another daughter Windrush Kanika, out of our color champion light fawn herdsire Windrush Jennifer's Zindel. Kanika started off as a bay black but when shorn this spring is now a beautiful, shiny true black. We will be breeding Chai back soon to one of our Windrush Herdsires and are tempted to repeat either the breeding to Tobiano or the breeding to Zindel to see if we can get another beautiful black Chai daughter. Chai has some dominant color genetics and will serve you well if color is what you are looking to put into your herd. I hate to put her on the sales list, but our great 2008 cria crop means we have to free up some room in our pastures.
