As of Jan 2014, Razor offspring have won 4 Judge's Choice, 1 Spirit of the Fiber Industry Award, 25 Championships and over 70 Blue Ribbons!

Razor's 1st crias arrived Fall 2003 with outstanding locks, extreme luster, and fantastic density. His signature locks and high luster make his offspring stand out from the crowd, and he has produced exceptional offspring from dams with “fluffier” lock styles. He has produced white, dark and medium fawns out of maroon, and even a dark brown from a lighter dam. Don’t let your eyes be fooled by his light exterior as he has proven he can produce dark crias with high luster and rick-rack style locks. Check out the variety of colors of his offspring and the many, many show championships won by both Razor and his progeny. Click here for a listing of his cria's winnings. Razor has the disposition and natural showy presence that we all covet in our breeding programs. His crias are farm favorites, as they are gentle, friendly, and curious. His crias perform well in the show ring in all classes, from the largest halter show and fleece shows in the country, to winning the most difficult performance and obstacle courses. Razor is an all-around stud that passes on his high luster, and zig-zag wavy locking. His crias win fleece shows because of their fineness, uniformity, and fleece weight, as Razor annually shears at least 8 lbs of fiber even at age 12. He is a fiber machine! Razor has produced crias from dark to light. Razor is available for stud at the Wild Rose Suri Ranch in Havre de Grace, MD. Breedings at the Wild Rose Suri Ranch include complimentary 45 days board (60 days if west of Mississippi river), ultrasound pregnancy confirmation, and a live birth guarantee. Description

1 RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP 8 BLUE RIBBONS BEST LUSTER/BEST LOCKS/BEST LOCK FORMATION ************************************ Drive-By Only Cairo is the ideal suri with a fine fleece (20.2 micron), gorgeous twisted ropey locks to the skin, shimmering luster, good density, and a cool, slick handle. He has perfect conformation, a typey head and an easy going disposition. Cairo would be ideal to breed to just about any color suri. He is likely to greatly improve fiber characteristics of dark-colored girls, while producing dark colors. Cairo is a spitting image of his multiple-award winning sire, Accoyo Razor. His dam consistently produces award winners with magnificient fleeces. One half sister took 2nd place halter at 2002 MaPaca Jubilee, in addition to a number of 1st and 2nd place fleece awards. A second half-sister took 4th place in a very large medium brown class at 2003 AOBA Nationals. She also took 2nd place and Reserve Champion at the 2003 Alpacarama show.
