We are so pleased to announce that Sierra Bonita’s Sirius Black has joined our farm family. Sirius is considered one of the top suri herd sires in the country and the only black suri to win a National Championship 2 years consecutively. He is a full Peruvian Macgyver son and described by so many who have seen him as “the most incredible black suri I have seen”, true ink black, dense, lustrous,and with locks completely independent at the skin. As a Juvenal, he won 1st and champion at the level 5 Great Western alpaca Show in Denver, 1st place at the Futurity, and 1st and reserve champion at AOBA National Conference. Feb. 2006 he won 1st place and Color Champion in Fort Worth Texas. He won 1st at the IAO in CA and on April 1st, won 1st and Color Champion in Puyallup WA. He won 1st and Reserve-Color Champion at the Futurity, 1st and Color Champion at MAPACA and 1st and Color Champion at PAOBA. Sirius finished his show season by winning 1st and National Black Color Champion in Kentucky at the AOBA National Conference. His Dam, Peruvian Starlette, has produced 7 champion offspring including Sirius’s full siblings, Celestina, Synergy, and Macgyverson. His sire, Macgyver has won “Herd Sire Of The Year” 7 years in a row. Sirius’s cria are truly impressive and winning championship after championship. They are following after their Sire and Grandsire. Double Dutch's American Spirit has done an outstanding job of reproducing consistently his genetics. His fiber won his class at Nationals as well as "Best Suri Luster" overall the suris entered. Dutch has that Awesome fine Suri fleece, above average density, and uniform lock structure that will be genetically passed on. Dutch's progeny have done extremelly well in the show ring all across the country. Dutch stamps his offspring with his luster and dense locks. Description

Juno is a multiple champion, exquisite female of impeccable breeding. Juno has ultra fine, super lustrous independently locked fleece on a well conformed frame and she is dense, dense, dense. she has a beautiful head and is a gorgeous example of the suri phenotype. Her sire is Sirius Black, a Macgyver son, who has won 10 championships including AOBA Nationals in 2005 and 2006. Her dam is a Torbio daughter and Ramilo granddaughter. Juno won 1st place at The Futurity in 2009 and 2010. She also won 1st place at the AOBA National Show 2010. Her judge at The AOBA NAtional, Amanda VandenBosch said of Juno, "She is the most complete package, true to type through the head, finest fleece, density and solidity of lock." She has won multiple blue ribbons and championships at very competitive shows, see the full listing below. This spectacular female has proven her star quality in the show ring and is retiring from the show ring to go on to prove herself as a producer of champions as well.
