Double Dutch's American Spirit has done an outstanding job of reproducing consistently his genetics. His fiber won his class at Nationals as well as "Best Suri Luster" overall the suris entered. Chanterelle is a second generation AOBA National & Futurity Color Champion. Chanterell has fleece that is rich and warm, like dark chocolate, luxurious and lustrous. Her fleece excellently covers her compact, strong frame. Her eyes are bright and she is curious,friendly and a joy to be around. Chanterelle has an outstanding show ring career to back her personal attractions and charms. Chanterell's winnings include: 2011 Futurity Color Champion and 2011 AOBA National & IAO Res. Color Champion. Chanterelle's sire, MacGyver's Balboa, has produced several Black and Brown AOBA National and Futurity Color Champions. In 2011 Balboa was named the Dark Herd Sire of The Year and Res. Light Herd Sire of the Year. Chanterelle's Dam is Chantelle, who placed 2nd at 2008 Futurity in a large brown class and was sired by Keanu, the son of Mahogany Prince, known for his ability to pass along dense, lustrous flecce, good coverge and excellent substance of bone. Chanterelle has everything it takes to produce a 3rd Generation Color Champion.
