Macgyverson's Peruvian Enrique (MPE)
Alpaca, Suri, Herdsire (Male) | Medium Brown
AOA #30365766 | DOB: 7/11/2007 (17 yrs)
Sire: Peruvian Macgyverson
30365766<--ari-->Dark Brown<--color-->MacGyverson needs no introduction. He has produced Champion, Blue Ribbon, and 100% colored offspring! Even when bred to white, he consistently produces color.
MacGyverson's Dam, Starlette, is perhaps the finest dam with whom MacGyver has produced offspring. She is the dam of National Champion Celestina, Multi-Champion Synergy, National Champion Sirius Black, and of course National Champion MacGyverson, all multiple champions in the largest shows in the country.
MacGyverson ended his show career with a bang! Against 40 of the nations most outstanding male, brown, suri alpacas, MacGyverson placed First Place and Color Champion at the 2005 AOBA National Conference. As Jude Anderson stated, "This alpaca is the complete male suri package." Let's say, this guy stands out in a crowd. He has a striking confidence and presence about him and yet is a perfect gentleman in every respect.

Dam: Accoyo Baron's Peruvian Trinity
30365766<--ari-->White<--color-->Could it get any better than Trinity? I’m afraid not! Trinity is nothing short of incredible. She is one of those alpacas that just gets better and better – on a daily basis! One day I look at her and think, “Wow, this girl has the most dense fleece”. The next day I look and think, “Were those locks so twisted yesterday?”. The next day I look and think, “Could she be any more beautiful”. This is not an exaggeration! Trinity never ceases to amaze everyone here on the farm. She is a perfect example of a complete, outstanding, suri package.
Trinity is a ½ Accoyo, Baron daughter. When I first saw her, I could see that she was what I wanted in my breeding program. She was elegant, she had incredible, lustrous fleece, well-defined ropey locks, and a lovely head. Not only does she come by one of the most incredible herd sires in the country, her dam also proved herself in the show ring. Sugar and Spice won three 1st place ribbons, two championships and two 2nd place ribbon<--description-->
Description
MPE has over 15 crias on the ground - all solid med fawn or darker. We're very pleased with the results! Daughter Jupiter just topped off a successful 2011 show season with a Res. Championship at Suri Network Fleece Show. Enrique has proved he can reproduce his fantastic color & fleece stats. Check out these excellent results from his 2010 crias:
Jupiter 19.6µ; SD 3.9; CV 19.7; CF 98.4%
Shamwow 20.6µ; SD 4.2; CV 20.5; CF 98.3%
Taking the showring by storm in 08 & 09, Enrique won 1st in every show entered and took 6 Championships, 2 Reserves & Judges' Choice at MAPACA. His 09 fiber stats are even better than the remarkable 08 results. This boy just keeps getting better!
His award-winning sire, MacGyverson, by the incomparable MacGyver, won many championships during his show career & comes from a well-known line of champion producers including full brothers Synergy and Sirius Black.
At Dakini, we emphasize maternal lines. With her high luster, ropey locks and beautiful head Enrique’s dam Trinity exhibits the qualities we want in our program. Not only is she by one of the top sires in the country, Accoyo Baron, her dam Sugar & Spice has also proved herself winning many ribbons & championships.
Enrique has inherited all of the best qualities his parents could give him: an incredibly lustrous soft-handling fleece with a high degree of independence, uniformity & density, a strikingly beautiful head, strong bone with balanced sound confirmation, a proud confident presence, and an easy-going temperament.
You may think surely we're exaggerating & this glowing description is just marketing hype. After all how could an alpaca be so nearly close to perfect? Superior genetics & rigorous breeding choices combined with excellent nutrition & care surely helped to create the gift of Enrique. Perhaps it was a bit of luck too. Whatever it was we’re excited he's now working so the world can share in this gift from the alpaca goddess!
