Saphana is the Quechuen word for " Braid of hair" which describes the shimmery waves of her fleece perfectly. This is one of the finest suri females you will find. She glows with luster, is completely covered in uniform twisted locks and stands proud with a large, strong, upright frame. Her dam is a beautiful white female who has produced superb cria who thrive under her maternal and milking abilities. Her sire is a dark maroon male who truly drips with luster and has produced the most gorgeous offspring in a wide array of colors. Her first breeding to a Condor son was done intentionally to cross those gray genetics with Saphana's gray grand sire, Silver King. Ths high quality, snow white female offspring from that breeding, Santa Ana, was a surprise, but not a disappointmeent and did really well in the show ring against some of the nation's top accoyos. Second baby was all you could hope for with the mating to Bet on Black - a true black female. Saphana is rebred to our Torbio son Dash of Splash for a 12/02/2010 cria. Should be exciting.
