*** Now the Color Champ is producing champions. Ark's Tsunami's Suzie is the first Tsunami cria to get the purple! And another Champion, WNX Tallulah!!! The Tsunami cria have so far amassed 3 champion ribbons and 21 blue ribbons!
Son of Emerald Farm's Orlando Cloud, Tsunami is proving to be the superior future grey herdsire that we have expected. His TEN Championships at Northern Illinois, Topeka, Oklahoma, Texas, MOPACA, Indiana, Northern Illinois,Topeka, Arkansas and Oklahoma support his ability to counter the competition. In twelve shows he has TEN championships--five before his first birthday.
Tsunami's extremely fine fiber (16.2 microns at 13 months), extreme density, and skin-to-tip consistent crimp set his fiber apart. His good coverage, nice conformation and extremely placid demeanor make for the total package.
His grey mother, Bela Sara, a daughter of Merrill, an early grey Chilean import, has given us multiple color champion progeny in grey and black.

Dam: Our Happy Hummers Sunrise Surprise
34104172<--ari-->Dark Silver Grey<--color-->After an ultrasound on her dam, we were told that there was no baby, but she appeared early on Nov. 8th to surprise us, thus her name! She is a lovely dark grey lady with a nice soft crimpy fleece with good staple length to it. She has also proven to be an excellent mom to her cria, Tsunami's Miss Jubilee. She had an easy birth and plenty of milk and is very attentive to her baby. Her fleece makes up into a wonderfully soft yarn that is a true pleasure to work with. She is currently bred to Ark's Marathon, with a delivery date of June 2015. We look forward to many more years of great crias and fleeces from this lovely lady!<--description-->
Description
Tsunami’s Miss Jubilee is a real gem! With a fiber diameter of 17.1 in a lovely light gray with nice crimp, and good staple length, she is a real “knockout”. At 7.5 months, she had enough staple length for it to be turned into yarn! At 4, her mom is holding at 20 microns, just like grandmom held steady at 20 microns through age 7!Her sturdy frame and sweet face with those lovely dark eyes and sweet smile will win your heart in no time! With Tsunami’s winning genetics, and the likes of Orlando Cloud, Jericho, Accoyo Express and Nic Nac in her background, she has strong potential for great crias. She is holding her own in tough classes with other Tsunami offspring, as in the 2014 Wisconsin Alpaca and Fiberfest she took a 3rd out of a class of 8, and in the American Alpaca Showcase in Des Moines 2014, she took a 2nd with Judge Arturo Pena commenting on her great capacity, staple length and fine fleece. Had a 1st place in the WI show in 2015.
