Pedigree: Her sire, MA Peruvian Tomba, is likely the best son of the legendary "El Negro" - PPPeruvian Inca - the first true BLACK male imported from the Alianza. Inca was given the highest possible rating in the '95 Peruvian importion. Tomba's dam, 4Peruvian Black Satin, came to the US in 1996 at 1 1/2 years of age with a micron count of 21.2. She was also a true BLACK. Ava's dam is from Skyeview Alpacas. Jim & Sue King have been successfully breeding and showing alpacas since 1992. According to the importation records, Ava's maternal granddam, CPeruvian Alexis 2212 IMPF98, came from the Antacalla herd of the Rural Alianza co-op. The Rural Alianza has long bred their alpacas to a standard of fineness to meet the requirements of the textile industry in Peru.
