If you know your Bolivian lines, you will surely know of Sterling. He is an Impact Herdsire when it comes to the Bolivian breeding stock. He has produced a wide array of color from light fawn to beautiful rose grey. If you've ever seen Sterling, you would not forget him. He has the most beautiful brown eyes you will ever see. At 14 1/2 yrs. old, he still produces fine, crimpy fleece that is very useable for prime fleece yarns. Sterling’s histogram at importation was AFD 19.7, SD 3.5, CV 17.8 and %>30 of 0.8. That is very typical for the Bolivians - exceptional fineness with low SD and CV and most pleasing, fewer than 1% of their fibers greater than 30 microns. Want to add fineness? Dasani has beautiful fleece that is very crimpy and dense. It spins like a dream and her cria have inherited these characteristics. Dasani is a very gentle girl and a great mother to her young ones. On 9/4/11, Dasani delivered a beautiful female cria sired by Sterling of Bolivia. We have never had any problems with Dasani - she delivered this year's cria in the morning - we turned our back on her for a few minutes while doing chores, and when we turned around, there was a newborn cria. It was that fast.

This little gem was born on 9/4/2011. Beautiful, healthy, Full Bolivian female. Curly, DENSE and oh, so soft. Her ears are medium fawn and she has that sweet Bolivian face with really great coverage from her nose to her toes. Another awesome cria from Sterling of Bolivia. Unfortunately, Sterling is getting up there in age and won't be around forever...so we are so thankful to have some very high quality offspring from this spectacular herdsire. His impact on our full Bolivians has been priceless and we're proud to offer these superior crias from him and our breeding program. If you want quality, these Sterling offspring are the REAL DEAL!
