WKA Accoyo Mozart's Opus One
Alpaca, Huacaya, Herdsire (Male) | White
AOA #30020000 | DOB: 10/19/2005 (19 yrs)
Sire: HDF Accoyo Mozart
30020000<--ari-->White<--color-->Mozart is the epitome of a full Accoyo macho. He is large boned with a beautiful head, wonderfully crimpy, soft-handled fiber and EXTREME density. His density was validated by his score of 19.75 out of a possible 20 in the MAPACA fleece competition in April 2005 where he was awarded a first place. For those seeking the possibility of color, he has a brown spot on his left side that increases the chances that he will produce color.
Typically, when you have such tremendous density, you sacrifice fineness. As a five-year-old breeding male, Mozart has maintained a 23.6 micron.
For those of you who realize the correlation of testicular size of the sire and the reproductive life of his female offspring, our vet, who is a camelid specialist, remarked that, "Mozart has the largest testicular mass of any male I've seen".
His cria have been beautiful with bright, wonderfully crimpy fiber and right-on-the-money conformation.

Dam: NWA, LTD Ms March
30020000<--ari-->White<--color-->Ms March is a gorgeous girl with wonderful fiber. She must take after her father, Hemingway.
Bred by the Rural Allianza co-op and originates from their plantel herd located in Macusani. This herd is known all over Peru for its fine fleece. If there exists one Huacaya herd sire that has made the most profound impact upon improving the overall quality of the alpaca outside of South America, there is definitely no doubt that this alpaca is Peruvian Hemingway. Hemingway's overall coverage is considered stellar. He has been confirmed to be the number one award winning fleece/male in history. The prepotency of Hemingway is truly remarkable. The offspring of the Hemingway bloodline have been the most successful of any herdsire in the show ring in the United States, Canada, and Australia. What is the trademark of the Hemingway progeny? Heminway’s offspring all poses fineness of fleece, a low coefficient of variation, uniformity, and luster. At twelve years of age, Hemingway still retained a 23 micron fleece, 16% CV, and crimp to boot. As reported in a study by Mike Safley, Hemingway has proven to reduce micron and to improve uniformity in fleece by approximately 25%.<--description-->
Description
Opus is a gorgeous herd sire. He has the best of two Peruvian lines, Accoyo line and Allianza coop line. He is a Hemi-Accoyo. His dam’s sire is Hemingway. He was bred at the Allianza Coop in Peru. The coop is known for its ability to produce the very finest fiber. The Accoyo farm was known for large boned, extreme density, impressive staple length, and outstanding coverage. Imagine both lines bred together. Well, that is a hemi- accoyo. His sire is HDF Accoyo Mozart, whos sire is El Moustachio. Opus’s dam’s sire is Hemingway. Hemingway is an all time US, Canadian and Australian winner. (You can read about these GREAT alpacas on Opus’s sire and dam pages.) Opus has all of the great features too. His fiber is so dense it moves like cement. It is so tight it doesn't move. He sheared a 5.8 blanket this year. Last year he sheared 11.5 pounds of total fleece at 21 microns!!!!!
He is such a man's man, he would love to meet every female he could.
