We used him extensively in our program last year as we were pleased with his female offspring, Grazing Hills Athena, our first cria from Knightly. She was shown twice in 2005, taking a 6th out of 15 and a 4th out of 9. We are keeping Athena as part of our foundation herd. We lost our first 2005 cria from Knightly due to IgG issues; he was a beautiful little black boy. But we were then thrilled to get 2 more girls this season, one a gorgeous dark silver grey! Knightly's offspring show off his stellar conformation (people always call him handsome and comment on his stately head) and lovely fiber character as well as his sweet disposition!

1193367<--ari-->Dark Fawn,<--color-->Ms. Gita is one of the sweetest alpacas in the pasture. And she is very smart -- she comes looking for treats the minute we get through the barn door. Her fiber is lovely with a wonderful handle, great crimp and style. It is a beautiful surprise at shearing time since it comes off much darker than one would expect with her vicuna coloring. We are selling Ms. Gita at the low price of $10,000 because she has weak fetlock on her left foreleg. We suspect it was an issue with Ms. Gita's dam who suffered some mineral deficiencies in her last days; Gita was her last cria. This has not hindered Ms. Gita in any way; she is otherwise conformationally sound, and there is no sign of any problem in her first cria, Gredel. Gita is re-bred to our handsome Mr. Knightly for an August '06 cria.

Description
Gredel is beautiful with great conformation, soft crimpy fiber and a strong presence. With genetics like PPPeruvian Cahuide, a white Full Accoyo Import, and PRA Don Frederico, a Caligula son, she lives up to her heritage. These are genetics not often found here in the East.
Gredel is one of those alpacas that just has to be in every picture you take at our farm. If you have the camera, she starts prancing and dancing. She has a great temperament and a "see me" attitude.
Gredel comes from color and throws color when bred to color. Just check out Cheyenne, Gabriel and Isaac to see the quality she produces.
Gredel was left open so that you can pick the herdsire that will best fit your breeding program. Her purchase will include one free breeding. Let me know and I'll send you the names of herdsires that are currently available to us.
