Dense & Fine
BlueGenes' Henry Higgins
Alpaca, Huacaya, Herdsire (Male) | Dark Silver Grey
AOA #1078879 | DOB: 6/13/2005 (19 yrs)
Sire: Royal Reggae
1078879<--ari-->True Black<--color-->Royal Reggae was the 2001 MAPACA Jubilee black yearling blue ribbon winner and reserve color champion. He throws the color of dam and his fine, fine fleece -- the perfect complement to My Fair Lady's crimp and density.<--description-->
Dam: My Fair Lady 371
1078879<--ari-->MSG<--color-->The 'Grand Dam' of our foundation herd. All the great characteristics of My Fair Lady are expressed in her 6 offspring (5 females, 1 male). Her density, crimp and coverage come through every time, in addition to the best qualities of the herd sire. Lady has great conformation and coverage. We are most proud of her daughter, Amelia Bedelia, who garnered 3 blue ribbons, 3 red ribbons, and one color champion purple banner in her 2005 show career.<--description-->
Description
Henry Higgins fleece is especially fine and dense with tight crimp and has maintained those qualities. Spinners love the hand of his fleece (see below) and it makes a gorgeous dark gray yarn. He has excellent conformation and is easy to handle. If you have a female in need of fineness and density, this is the guy!
Here are a few comments from spin-off judges:
"Spun beautifully!"
"A lot of very fine crinkle"
"Silky, light & bouncy. Very nice!"
"Great lustre!"
"Light, but dense, soft with a lot of body."

Henry’s sire, Royal Reggae, was the 2001 MAPACA Jubilee black yearling blue ribbon winner and reserve color champion. Henry’s 1/2 sister, Amelia Bedellia is a champion color banner and multiple blue-ribbon winner.
His first 2 offspring are females and Henry allows the dam's characteristics to pass on to the cria. Loverly is super fine (like her dam), but resembles Henry. Night Light has her dam's typey head and size and her grandfather's (Dark Shaddow) color.
Give Henry the opportunity to add fresh, new, champion genetics to your herd, as well as blue-ribbon fleece. Given the economy, his breeding fee will not rise and we will discount for drive-bys, ribbon winners, or mobile breeding. If you're interested in purchasing him, we will retain breedings, but please call for details.
