MLS Accoyo Al Nino. Caligula, Don Julio stated was his business card left here for America. His Full Accoyo son El Nino went on to win the 2004 AOBA "Get of Sire" award for his outstanding offspring and his son Al Nino here is ours.
El Nino was the Senior Champion of the 2001 International Alpaca Odyssey where his father, Caligula, came in second!
Al Nino's Grandsire Caligula is the son of Don Julio Barreda's pride and Joy Alpaca "Standing Bear", his "Powerball" he would not allow to be exported but eagerly wanted to share his genetics with his friends here in America to help leave his glorious stamp on our Outstanding Accoyo Alpaca Industry. This is wonderful information we hope continues to be shared to preserve the legendary status of the Big Beloved Guys Don Julio loved so much and we can see why.
Accoyo Moorea, Al Nino's Dam, is a perfect example of Accoyo. Nice heavy top-knot, dense fiber with great shear counts, exemplary conformation and a true typey Accoyo. She is a fantastic and dependable great breeding Accoyo female.
