Glory's Count of Montecristo

SuriHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 30012853DOB: 7/18/200618 yrs
We have decided to re focus on our love of dark colors and are now offering The Count of Montecristo (Harry) for sale. His price in no way reflects on his quality, pedigree or his ability to sire outstanding babies. Harry is a solid white son of Silvestre of Bolivia who is a True Black son of Black Debut of Bolivia. Both Silvestre and Debut are True Black with a white face. Harry has dark skin, toenails and eyes. His dam is Besa, sired by Pperuvian Amador who "in the beginning" as used as the example of the perfect suri phenotype. Amador is also the sire of Pucara Kahuna, whose progeny have swept the showring in recent years. Harry is now a proven stud with the birth of three cria-Billy Mitchell-sold at 1 year old-(brown speckled on white) out of Domino, Antonia de la Manana-who sold at 9 months- (medium brown) out of Laid Back Betty (a Macgyver daughter) and a female cria (medium fawn) Gold Piece-sold at 1 year- out of Seurette de Chambeau. It appears that he lets the color or pattern of the dam come through, sometimes making the color a little lighter. And he puts wonderful lock structure onto his babies. And as you can see from the sales record, all of his offspring were sold fairly early to eager buyers! He was nicknamed Harry when he was born because someone remarked "Boy, is he hairy" when they saw his fleece was already two inches long! Harry still retains that growth pattern. We probably should shear him twice a year! As you can see from his picture, he has great coverage, all the way down all four legs, a great topline, short muzzled and wonderful "bunny ears"! Drop us an email (or call us on the telephone!) if you would like more pictures, information or to purchase The Count of Montecristo!

Rare black/white suri, SALE PRICE.

PFF Domino Star

SuriOpen (Female)White, Medium Brown, Medium Silver Grey, True Black
AOA# 851000DOB: 9/22/200321 yrs
Domino Star is full Bolivian with all that implies: robust frame, early maturity and lots of color! She is a proven dam having had two colored female cria and one white, one half Accoyo, male. Domino has been bred to The Count of Montecristo for a May 2010 cria (see Billy Mitchell). Domino is an excellent mother, easy birther with lots of milk. She will let us take care of her new baby with minimal fuss. The little golden brown alpaca behind Domino in this picture is her cria at the time, Maserati's Starlight. The Count (Harry) is white but from True Black genetics. He is a son of Silvestre el Boliviano, a True Black. Silvestre is a Black Debut son, with the white face that is prominent in the Black Debut line. With his black genetics and Domino's black markings, it will be interesting to see if they can produce a black! P.S. The Count is called Harry because, when he was born his fleece was already two inches long and someone remarked "Boy, is he hairy", so Hairy (Harry) he has been! Breaking news----Domino's daughter, Sparkle Plenty (a carbon copy of mom) has had a very dark brown or maybe black in the future, boy sired by Pachamama's Peruvian Cortez. See Mysterioso's picture to your right. See Sparkle's page to see her 2012 female cria, Zavi Java. Both Sparkle and Java have been sold! Domino is available for lease or sale. Bring some color to your herd. You can have all these wonderful color genetics at a fraction of the cost of buying a Foundation Female. Give us a call, let's talk!

Description

Looking for a fancy boy? An appaloosa boy? A Full Bolivian boy? Lovely Billy Mitchell was born on Memorial Day 2010. We just had to find a patriotic name for him. We hope WWII flying ace Billy Mitchell won't mind if we named this very attractive boy after him. Billy has a scattering of little spots down the back of his neck and spine, brown bracelets just above the toes on each leg and brown and black on his muzzle and even some on his ears. Not too much, just enough so say he is NOT a white alpaca! Billy has all kinds of color genetics in him from his great grandfather Black Debut of Bolivia on his sire's side and Highlander of Bolivia on his dam's side. Both of these great foundation herdsires are registered as True Black. Black Debut also has the destinction of a lot of his cria showing his own white face. Billy's sire, Glory's Count of Montecristo, is white but has black genetics and we were not surprised to see black come in his cria, Billy. Domino Star is Billy's dam and she is white with black, brown and even gray markings. Her sire is Bril Creme who has given her that beautiful pattern on face and body. Domino has also had a solid brown female cria in Starlight and a patterned female in Sparkle Plenty. Just too much fun! Give us a call or shoot us an email on the beautiful Billy Mitchell. We have lowered his price just to find him a good home. Our focus is on dark colors and he just does not fit our breeding program.
