You'll first notice his dense bone and rock-solid conformation. Then look at his fleece - even at his age, you'll see and feel the density, brightness and consistency... Savone is a beautiful full Peruvian silver grey male. He's a large alpaca with a regal presence, much like his sire 6P Dom Timbo (the first male chosen in the sixth import). During his show career, judges commented on his strong conformation; the extremely soft and beautiful handle of his fleece, the uniformity and lovely character of his crimp; and the density throughout his fleece. At 7 years his histogram was AFD: 24.1, SD 5.8, CV 24.1, 10.3%>30mic. After several years of breeding, he has produced offspring with beautiful heads, good conformation, and lovely fleeces. When bred to grey or black females, he has thrown either gray or black. When bred to fawn or brown, he has thrown rose grey, brown, and black. Just a few of Savone's Offspring! Ebony Silk is a striking non-fading black out of two true black Patagonia imports. Like her name, Silk is fine fleeced with a moderate amplitude, high frequency crimp style. She's one of our larger girls with great capacity. Silk always has easy, unassisted births and plenty of milk. After her last delivery, she willingly supplemented two other cria besides her own girl! That is a quality any farm could use - - dam not producing or a light milker - - Silk to the rescue. She's worth her price just as a surrogate! She's thrown black from a black sire, LSG from a grey sire and now a gorgeous Mahogany from a fawn sire - and all girls! If we weren't keeping her daughter, Silk would be continue to be part of our foundation herd.

Description

Satin is a striking grey female out of our Dom Timbo son - Dom Savone. Her dam got some of the best import genetics from Patagonia/Heatherbrook Farms in Caballero Andante and Rancagua. Satin is blessed with a really solid frame, dense bone and good conformation. Her fleece is soft, bright and very uniform. We would recommend a breeding to TC Bayhawk to further her density and keep the black/grey genetics. Don Raul or Intimidator would be excellent choices as well.
