2013 DARK FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2011 RESERVE FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2013 FUTURITY DARK GET CLASS WINNER TOP RANKING MSL AND FW EPD'S Futurity Judges Choice video. Chakotah in 2011 had a son win four Judges Choice awards, (Pucara) Chakotah's Wyuna, and a daughter, Buzz n Hum Layla who won GWAS 2011 Judges Choice. Chakotah ALSO won the Nationals and GWAS Get classes with our Pucara Kahuna, his grandfather, in second both times. His cria won championships and ribbons in many shows all over the country. When we first started our alpaca farm here in the US the first sale we made of our own suris was to Ann and Bill Rogers at CCR Alpacas. We asked Ann and Bill if they would let us know when one of those girl's, Kalina, had her cria and we would consider purchasing it. As it turned out they decided to send Kalina along with several of our own females to be bred to Moon River's Durango, at our sincere urging!!! Jude and I adored Durango. He was a stand out in the show ring winning a championship in all his shows but more importantly to us he had exquisite genetics. Those breedings produced two national Champions for us and several ribbon winners. When Kalina gave birth Ann excitedly called us and raved about the cria. Well we know owners get a bit barn blind about their animals so we asked for pics....man oh man, he looked fabulous. We visited CCR Alpacas soon thereafter and purchased a half share of this boy, Chakotah....at two months of age!!! It's insane, the first time we have been so bold but in the flesh he even looked better than the pics. The Kahuna daughter, Kalina, had produced a knockout cria. Chakotah's performance in the show ring has been exemplary. He exhibits extreme greasy luster, super silky handle, density in thick well defined locks from one end of his sturdy frame to the other and fineness. All with a proud masculine head on a well balanced body. As a mature male his frame is magnificent. Everything a stud male suri should be approaching 10 years of age - head style, frame, chest capacity, and above all great libido and fertility. Was this to be expected from the intial breeding. We hoped so because it was the marriage of genetics from Peruvian Bruxo, Peruvian Uribe, Peruvian Augustina (McGyver's mom), Pperuvian Amador and Peruvian Cadete (Accoyo foundation herdsires of our female herd), Pucara Kahuna and Pucara Allegro who had 37 championship winning cria in Australia of which 17 won Best in Show! The odds were stacked in our favor and are now stacked in yours because there is little room for deviation of outcome with this punch of prepotence. If you have a good female you'll get a great cria with this breeding. Chakotah kids have been wowing them all over the country. They have won championships and Judges Choice Awards in strong company !!! We think he is turning out to be every bit as good if not better than his grandfather Kahuna! The show kids have won championships in both color a

We simply need to move animals as quickly as possible so contact us with any and all offers. Josh's cell: 231-409-2292, Tonya's cell: 231-409-4878 and info@stonebrookfarms.com Moon is a beautiful light fawn with nice tight locks and density along with luster. She has a sweet personality. Her IgG was 2280 and a birth weight of 17.55 pounds. She has a great presense just like her dam. Her sire is Gunsmoke who is standing stud at Ameripaca. Moon has a full sister that is a beautiful appy and she will have another full sibling in 2005. Obviously this pairing of blood lines brings about fantastic crias. We couldn't agree more. In March 2005, Moon began her show career. At the Wisconsin Spring Fling, Moon entered the ring in a class of 9 Light Fawn and Beige females. She did well and earned herself a 3rd place. She placed behind her stall and pasture mate, Leelanau Mist who took 1st place in the class and then went on to win Color Champion at just 6 months of age. We were pleased. In April 2005, Moon joined 11 other of the Nation's top Light Fawn Females at the Futurity in Indianapolis, IN. Moon did very well and placed 1st in her class at just 10 months of age. This girl let her conformation, lock, and amazing luster shine through. At MAPACA she placed 3rd in her large class of very nice females at the largest alpaca show in history. This girl turned heads! Moon's first cria is an adorable fawn female named "Saber's Eclipse". Eclipse has great coverage, luster and density on her big boned frame and she places 2nd at the 2007 Futurity! Moon's second cria is a stunning medium brown son named "Saber's Hunter" - named after the October Hunter's Moon of his conception. Hunter was nearly 19 pounds at birth and took 1st place and Res. Color Champion at Level 5 Indiana Show! Moon's 2008 cria - a high lustered fawn female, sired by This is Granite! "Moon's Shadow" can be seen taking First Place at CABA in 2010. Shadow was a multiple champion winner.
