2010 Colored Reserve Herdsire of the Year! 2011 Futurity Update: Saber's two black offspring representing him at Futurity have taken First Place! Liberator also went on to become the Black Male Reserve Color Champion. Revolution took First Place in her Juvie Class. Way to go, Saber! Saber is a strikingly handsome Full Peruvian male with outstanding definition of locks all the way to the skin. His luster is unbelievable! He is everything you would come to expect from an Accoyo Baron grandson and a Sergeant Major Jax son. He has amazing density and the highly desired slick, cool feel to his fiber. His head is superb, he has great bone as well as leg coverage. This male is a great package of quality, color and pedigree. Take a look at his Certificate! Saber crias are taking the show circuit by storm. His offspring are making their mark in the shows, but also gaining the attention of breeders across the country since they are unrelated to the Bruxo/MacGyver line. This fact allows them great breeding opportunities in the future since their are so many fantastic breeding choices. At Stone Brook Farms we have bred a brown MacGyver daughter to Saber and they have given us a true black with dripping luster, density and coverage - perfect! If you are looking for a Herd Sire that you can cross with your female MacGyver offspring - Saber is both ready and highly capable.

Uribe and Fuego grandfathers are both medium fawn and have contributed to award winning genetics in their offspring. Clarissa's grandmother, Lura, produced White Lightning—the male that captured the unprecedented 3 blue ribbons in one show in 1997. Clarissa has proven to be an excellent mother and produced an exquisite cria out of Jackpot (Jackpot's Jocko) in 2002 without a single difficulty. The results of that pairing were so nice that she was bred to another full Accoyo male. She proved to be capable of color as she created a fancy female July 2003 that was sold before she was even weaned! Clarissa has the correct conformation and fabulous ropey Suri fiber that make her a standout on her own. Clarrissa delivered a stunning rose grey female cria, sired by Condor's Warrior. "Warrior's Grey Liadan of SBFS" is outstanding with amazing luster. Her show career was fantastic and Liadan's first cria "Saber's Red October of SBFS" just took 1st Place at the 2008 Futurity - Med. Brown Juv. Class at just 6 months of age - beating a Rockstar son! Clarrissa rebreed to Warrior and delivered a full brother to Liadan. "Warrior's Langley of SBFS" is a striking light fawn male. His fleece is beautiful and full of luster. Clarrissa delivered "Warrior's Slippery Rock of SBFS" in 2007. Slippery Rock is a very nice beige female with a brown spot at the base of her tail. Slippery Rock placed 2nd in her large beige class at Buckeye 2008! Congratulations Slippery Rock! We paired Clarrissa with Peruvian Saber for the first time in 2008 and they have produced a fantastic fawn male with locks, luster, greasy fleece and robust size to boot. "Saber's Castile of SBFS". We repeated the breeding for her 2010 cria and was blessed with a brown Saber daughter this time that we named "Idun". For 2011 we have mixed it up and took Clarrissa to our 1/2 Accoyo stud, Lego. On August 20, 2011 she delivered her Light Brown son, Claiborne. We were hoping for color and Clarrissa and Lego delivered just that! Claiborne comes at side with Clarrissa.

Description

Futurity 2011 Update: Castile's true black siblings, sired by Saber, that are representing Saber at the Futurity have taken First Places. Liberator also went on to become the Black Male Reserve Color Champion. Revolution took First Place in her Juvie Class - Way to Go Saber kids! Saber's Castile of SBFS is a beautiful light fawn son of Saber, the 2010 Reserve Herdsire of the Year. Castille's dam, Clarrissa, has been a terrific dam for us over the years as she has produced numerous champions. Castile's showed at the 2010 NWAS show in Washington and took First Place in his class of Light Fawn Juvenile males. He then entered the Light Male Color Championship class against the Beige Juvenile winners, as well as the Yearling males. Obviously to his disadvantage, since he is a fawn showing against lighter males... and standing in the ring with two Yearling males that just the week before placed First and Second at Futurity.... well, Castile didn't back down and came out of the ring with the Reserve Color Championship under his belt as a Juvie. At the 2010 CABA show Castile showed against his pasture mate and buddy, Lego's Axman of SBFS. At this show he let Axman take the win, where he ultimately won the Color Championship Banner. In the Juvenile class, Castile and Axman beat the Futurity 1st place finisher so no shame at this show! Male Sale Going On Right Now so don't wait!
