Priscilla Jax

SuriBred (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 838403DOB: 7/8/200222 yrs
Priscilla Jax is a daughter of Ppperuvian Katya and Paseo Rojo. She is a proven producer of quality offspring with excellent lock structure, fine fleece, strong conformation and shimmering luster. Priscilla, with black and grey siblings, holds plenty of color ability, and has previously produced as dark as true black. Her most recent cria, Peruvian Shimmer, the first cria out of XTR Lord Leighton, is a stunning fawn female that will be one to watch next spring. Priscilla's dam, Ppperuvian Katya is a super fine-fleeced import from the Antacalla region of Peru with a micron measurment of 20.8 at the time of importation. Katya is also the dam of two prominent herdsires, Peruvian Maverick and Jax Rum Runner. Priscilla's sire, Paseo Rojo, is a deep reddish brown male, and another fine-fleeced import that tested at 20.4 microns at the time of import. Paseo Rojo also produced numerous notable progeny in a wide range of colors, and was a top producer for Alpaca Jack's program for many years. Priscilla Jax is currently breeding to OABA champion, Bad Bad Leroy Brown for a fall 2010 cria.

Darkest Peruvian Belmonte Son

Bad Bad Leroy Brown

SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Brown
AOA# 30956902DOB: 8/5/200717 yrs
Full Peruvian, half Accoyo and solid medium brown out of a Ninotchka daughter and 10-Time Champion Accoyo Belmonte, Leroy proved he can hang in any class and ribboned in every single halter class he was entered in (12 times), including 2 Futurity Shows and 2 trips to the AOBA Nationals! It's that WOW kind of luster and fineness, the best attributes of both his sire and dam that had Leroy above the rest! With 121 crias registered to his 10-Time Champion sire, now closed to outside breedings, Bad Bad is the darkest full Peruvian male on the ground. As his dam has produced 4 black offspring from 8 breedings, Leroy makes a nice outcross for those deep colored MacGyver girls. With his first cria for us, Bad Bad showed us just what he can do. Out of a dam with a 19.7 micron, Leroy produced a beautiful female with 18.1 micron fleece and gorgeous luster. We are so excited about the quality of his females, we recently purchased one back for our foundation. Co-owned with Andean Vista Ranch.

Description

This gorgeous girl is the first cria to hit the ground out of XTR Lord Leighton. Shimmer just glows. She has super-fine, curly pencil locks, spot-on conformation and brilliant luster. She would make an excellent addition to any show string next spring, and a versatile production female. Her champion sire, Lord Leighton, is one of the few males to ever beat multi-champion Peruvian Sniper in the showring. He is a gorgeous jet black male, with high luster and ample bone and substance. Shimmer is loaded with dark color genetics from his Renzo and Royal Damasco bloodlines. This young female also has an impressive dam. Priscilla Jax is a Paseo Rojo daugther, and she is also maternal sister to Peruvian Maverick and Jax Rum Runner. Her mom is a wonderful mother, produces ample milk and has produced a healthy cria each year, all reproductive traits that are commonly passed on. She has, phenotypically and genetically, all you could look for in a foundation female.
