Sire of Champions!

CCNF Royal Ring of Fire

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Fawn
AOA# 851781DOB: 10/14/200321 yrs
CCNF Royal Ring Of Fire is the son of Snowmass Royal Rose and the late 5Peruvian Margarita, whom we were lucky enough to have here as a member of our foundation herd in the early years of our farm's existence. Royal Rose was well known for producing crias in all colors and just like his sire Ring Of Fire is also adding density and outstanding character to his crias while also throwing color! His crias are consistently typey and are often even a shade darker than the dams he has been bred to. Seven years into his career as a working Herdsire here at CCNF, his record as a proven producer of Champions is well established and his offspring in colors ranging from Fawn to Black have won major awards at the most important shows in the country! With such greats as Hemingway and Bueno in his pedigree, Ring of Fire is proudly carrying his family's legacy forward! Royal Ring of Fire is proudly co-owned with our good friends in the Badger family.

Dam: Blue Star's Marian

NAAS Winner - Blue 2008 & Red 2009

Blue Star's Marian

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 30389496DOB: 8/2/200717 yrs
Blue Star's Marian is a truly gorgeous true black girl out of our star female, Marylu, and the renowned true black herdsire, Snowmass Nova. Even from a short distance, it was nearly impossible to tell mother and daughter apart --- they looked that much alike! Just like Marylu, Marian displays perfect conformation and a perfectly typey head, but Marian also bears the stamp of Nova beautifully, with her fine, deep black, very dense fleece. Marian showed at NAAS 2008 at 7 months of age and took 1st place in a class of 16. In 2009 at NAAS, she got as close as a 1st place "sandwich", but the other alpaca got 1st and Marian got 2nd. We were thrilled, nonetheless! Being a real beauty with terrific bloodlines, we arranged Marian's 1st breeding to CCNF Royal Ring of Fire in 2009. In July 2010, she single-handedly delivered a beautiful female cria, Blue Star's Irene. This fiery little girl is dark fawn like her sire and also carries his very fine, very crimpy, and, thanks to both parents, extremely dense fleece. With Irene, Marian has given us the most perfect alpaca to date on our farm and has shown herself to be a perfect Mom (an excellent milker and very attentive to her cria). Marian is easy-going, peaceful, and very easy to handle. She has good strong bone and a perfect bite. As Blue Star Alpacas has stopped breeding, Marian is currently open.

Description

Irene is a 1st class young female alpaca boasting bloodlines of Dark Shaddow and Snowmass Nova on her dam Marian's side & Snowmass Royal Rose, Peruvian Hemingway, & Peruvian Bueno via her sire, CCNF Royal Ring of Fire. She carries the beautiful dark fawn color of "Ringo" but also holds the potential for true black cria due to Marian's strong black genes & lineage. Irene's fleece is remarkably dense with excellent coverage; please see her Yocom-McColl numbers below. Irene has good strong bone, perfect conformation & bite, & has a gentle disposition to boot. At 3 years of age, she is more than ready to breed & this beautiful girl deserves to prove her potential in producing highly desirable cria. Blue Star Alpacas is no longer breeding so we are motivated to sell this gem to a knowledgeable breeder who will breed her optimally.
